A conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the creation of the Democratic Party of the country was held today at the Center of Public Organizations of Turkmenistan

Today, the ceremony of lighting of the main New Year’s tree, which traditionally anticipated the events in honour of arrival of the New Year holiday, has taken place in the Turkmen capital.

The second volume of the book "Hatyra" ("Memory") is dedicated to the glory of the Balkan velayat warriors, who heroically fought in battles for their Motherland in the 1941-1945Great Patriotic War, in memory of those who died on the battlefields, who died from their wounds in hospitals, as well as those who gone missing.

One of the priorities of the state policy of Turkmenistan, consistently pursued by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, is all-round care for the young citizens of the country, the creation of the necessary conditions for their happy life and harmonious development, the formation of a physically strong and spiritually rich younger generation.

Today, the Center of Public Organizations of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting “Year of Peace and Trust: Triumph of Peaceful Domestic and Foreign Policy of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov”.

The country's central bank issued gold and silver coins on the occasion of the 15th Summit of Heads of State of the Organization for Economic Cooperation held in Ashgabat on November 28 of this year on ECO Day, each in denomination of 100 manats.

The next edition of the quarterly scientific and practical magazine “Democracy and Law” of the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan has been published in Turkmen, English and Russian.

The next edition of the quarterly popular science magazine “Miras” of the Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts named after Magtymguly of the Academy of Sciences has been published in Turkmen, Russian and English.

A modern park called “Erkin” was opened Today in the northern part of the Turkmen capital. The project, implemented as a result of the urban development program of Ashgabat, launched under the leadership of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, became a wonderful gift to its residents in the year of the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Motherland and the 140th anniversary of the main city of the state.

Today throughout the country, celebrations were held on the occasion of the Harvest Festival, which sums up the agricultural year, the labor of farmers, symbolizes the fertility of the Turkmen land, the abundance of our sachaks. It reflects the spiritual values and traditions of the Turkmen people, their solidarity, hard work, nobility.
