Today, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country general Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council to sum up the work of military and law enforcement bodies for four months of the current year. A number of issues, concerning security and tranquillity in our independent state and the strengthening of the material and technical basis of security structures and further perfection of their activity were also considered.

In accordance with Article 16 of the Law of Turkmenistan «On the Prosecutor’s Office of Turkmenistan», I decree:

By the decree of the President of Turkmenistan, Kasymov Yakupgeldi Gurbannyyazovich was dismissed from the post of director of the television and radio channel «Ýaşlyk» of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography.

These days, celebrations, conferences and exhibitions dedicated to the 81^st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945 are taking place in the capital and various parts of our country. The editorial team of the popular online journal «Arkadagly ýaşlar,» published under the auspices of the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly, has released its 4th issue of the year.

The President of Turkmenistan signed an Order authorising the travel of 289 pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj from the 21^st of May to 11^th of June, 2026.
