On August 8, 2025, the final plenary session of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries was held, which was attended by high-level officials of LLDCs, international organizations, as well as representatives of the private sector and civil society.
On August 8, 2025, a flag-lowering ceremony was held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone with the participation of members of the official delegations of Turkmenistan and the UN to mark the completion of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries.

On August 7, 2025, within the framework of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, a meeting of women leaders was held, the theme of which was “From Commitments to Change: Women as Drivers of the Avaza Agenda for Landlocked Developing Countries”, organized by the UN Secretariat jointly with the Government of Turkmenistan.
