Today, the President of Turkmenistan and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov, held a regular meeting of the State Security Council to resume the work accomplished by military and law enforcement agencies during the first eight months of the current year.

On 4 September 2026, a telephone conversation was held between President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.

By the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in accordance with Article 16 of the Law of Turkmenistan «On the prosecutor's office of Turkmenistan»:

Mass sowing of winter wheat began in Turkmenistan on September 2. As previously reported, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov adjusted the start date for sowing during the regular Cabinet of Ministers meeting held on August 28.
