The first days of spring are traditionally marked in our country by events to mark International women's day. The celebrations, which give profound meaning to the historically significant events of the year «Independent neutral Turkmenistan – the homeland of purposeful winged horses», have become a vivid symbol of the honour and respect shown at the state level to dear mothers and women.
The latest issue of the electronic magazine «Arkadagly Ýaşlar» published by the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly, has been released.
Turkmenistan is actively preparing for the upcoming on the 29th of March, elections of members of the halk maslahaty in the newly formed etraps of velayats of the country, as well as members of velayat, etrap, city halk maslahaty and Gengesh instead of prematurely retired deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan.
Preparations are gaining momentum for the elections of members of the Halk Maslahaty in the newly established etraps of the country’s velayats, as well as for the election of deputies to replace those who have departed early from the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, members of velayat, etrap and city Halk Maslahaty, and Gengeshes. The elections are scheduled to take place on March 29, 2026.
Today, in the northern region of the country, a ceremony was held to award a cash prize of 1 million USA dollars to the Koneurgench etrap, which achieved the best performance by the end of 2025. The solemn event was organised in the town of Bitaraplyk, which was opened in the International year of peace and trust.
Today, the capital "Ýyldyz" hotel hosted the opening of the international seminar «High-Level Dialogue on Global Health Diplomacy». The organisation of this large-scale event again attested to the triumph of the creative foreign policy of our country based on principles of positive neutrality and humanism.

The regular issue of the quarterly popular scientific magazine "Miras" which is published by the Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts named after Magtymguly of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, was released out of print.
