Today, the  Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted the conference «The International Year of Peace and Trust: Cooperation of Turkmenistan with the World Community» with participation of Deputy-Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of ministries and departments, representations of specialised structures of the United Nations Organization in Turkmenistan, rectors of higher educational institutions as well as  the faculty of the given higher educational institution and the student youth.

The final issue of the electronic magazine «Arkadagly Ýaşlar» under the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly has reached readers. Impressive speeches turned the new issue into a worthy conclusion to the remarkable year.

Every year, during the winter holidays, as part of a long-standing and cherished tradition, the capital hosts major New Year celebrations that bring together children from all corners of Turkmenistan.  

The book by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov titled "Magtymguly – the Sage of the World" has become a wonderful and invaluable gift for both the people of Turkmenistan and a wide readership on the eve of 2025, designated as the "International Year of Peace and Trust," and at the conclusion of 2024, celebrated as the "Fount of Wisdom Magtymguly Fragi". 

The second edition of the international scientific collection “Traces of the Centuries” has been published by the National Administration of Turkmenistan for the Protection, Study and Restoration of Historical and Cultural Monuments in Turkmen, English and Russian.

Today, in the New Year's solemnity, which took place in the festively decorated hall of the Palace «Döwletliler köşgi», its children were given gifts on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov as well as National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedova.

To the cheerful New Year's songs, colourful round dances and dancing compositions of young Turkmen nationals, the main New Year tree of the country was lighted up today with multi-coloured lights to announce arrival of the New year, a long awaited, favourite holiday full of unexpected discoveries.

According to the established good tradition, on the eve of the significant holiday for independent Turkmenistan - the International Day of Neutrality, ceremonies of commissioning of new buildings were held in different regions of the country.

Today, in accordance with the documents signed by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the awarding ceremonies of the jubilee medal of Turkmenistan «Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna» and the commemorative signs «Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna» were held for particularly distinguished citizens working in various sectors of the country and making a great contribution to the study and widespread popularisation in the world of the creative heritage of the classical poet Magtymguly Fragi, to the education of the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, respect for national values, traditions and customs of our people. 

Arkadagly Ýaşlar eMagazine, published by the Central Council of Magtymguly Youth Organisation of Turkmenistan, has released its 11th issue for 2024.
