In order to protect the rights and legitimate interests of citizens of Turkmenistan currently temporarily staying or permanently residing in foreign states due to the restrictions imposed on international transportation services caused by the pandemic of an acute infectious disease that has occurred in the world, as well as in accordance with Article 29 of the Law of Turkmenistan “On Migration”, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree.

According to the document, the validity of passports for the exit and entry to Turkmenistan for citizens of our country temporarily staying or permanently residing abroad, the validity of which expires between January 1, 2023 - December 30, 2024 is to be extended until December 31, 2024.
