The fundamental scientific monograph ""Turkmenistan in the Epoch of Might and Happiness"", prepared for publication by the Archive of the President of Turkmenistan was published. The publication tells about the history of the formation of the sovereign and neutral state, successes for 25 years of independence.

Ashgabat International Ecological Forum “Initiative for Cooperation in the Field of Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development in Central Asia” carried the work to completion, organized by the State Committee of Turkmenistan on environmental protection and land resources and the Central Asia Regional Environmental Center (CAREC).

In the Turkmen capital the Central Asian international ecological forum «Initiative for cooperation in the field of environmental protection and sustainable development in Central Asia» dated to World Environment Day. A three-day forum is devoted to climate change and rational use of water and has a value in the context of sustainable development of Central Asia.

The next session of the interdepartmental commission for maintenance of implementation of international obligations of our state in the field of human rights and international humanitarian right took place. Representatives of the Mejlis, several ministries and departments, law enforcement bodies, public organisations took part in the meeting at the Turkmen national institute of democracy and human rights at the President of Turkmenistan.

Today the twenty first session of the fifth convocation of the Mejlis in which a number of laws and regulatory legal acts were adopted, took place. For participation in the session representatives of related ministries and departments and also mass media were invited.

The season of children's summer vacation has started in Turkmenistan. Tens of thousands of children will rest for the summer and gain strength in the children's health centers of the country.

A meeting was held in Ashgabat with the participation of the leaders and executive officials of the military and law enforcement agencies, the main topic of which was the discussion of the most important tasks faced by the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes created in accordance with the Decree issued by President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov.

Today, an extraordinary meeting of Mejlis has been held. According to the Constitution of Turkmenistan, and on the proposal of President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, it discussed the dismissal from and appointment to the post of chairman of the Supreme Court of Turkmenistan.

To improve crime control activities, anti-corruption, crime prevention and investigation measures, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov has signed a Decree on establishing the State Service of Turkmenistan for combating economic crimes.
