It was published a next issue of the magazine “Milli goşun” (“National Army”), edited by the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan. The issue was dedicated to the “Ashgabat 2017” Games, held in September, which were participated by the Turkmen champions, who won many medals of various denominations.

The opening ceremony of «Nowruz ýaýlasynyň ak öýi» facility was held in Ak Bugday etrap of Ahal Velayat with participation of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The road from Ashgabat to the place of event was lined up with yurts where scenes of rural life were played and everything spoke of the coming celebration. Celebration atmosphere was highlighted by national music, numerous people were greeting the Head of the State and other participants of the ceremony.

In the Mukam palace an awarding ceremony of workers of culture and art in which bestowal of honorary titles and awarding of creative specialists - winners of the competition of the President of Turkmenistan «Türkmeniň Altyn asyry» took place.

After the opening ceremony of the building «Nowruz ýaýlasynyň ak öýi» the head of state gave a start for the autumn afforestation campaign having planted the first tree. He is followed by all participants of the ecological action.

The residential neighborhood, Parakhat-7/3 is being built in Ashgabat. The project envisages construction of 27 nine-story residential buildings. Four of them have already been commissioned; fifteen buildings are currently under construction; preparations are well underway for another eight apartment buildings planned for construction. The construction project is financed from the State Budget funds allocated to the Ashgabat khyakimlik.

On behalf of the sportsmen and coaches participating in Ashgabat 2017 Games, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who has initiated the Games and provided direct control of preparation of this grandiose event, was presented with the bicycle. The bicycle was handed over to the Presidential Museum of the State Museum.

The International Day of Older Persons has taken a worthy place in the public life of the country as a special date which plays an important role in the statement of humanistic ideals, - told in his address President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Turkmenistan will help Afghanistan in training of highly qualified personnel. As Deputy Prime Minister for Education and Science S. Toiliyev said at the meeting of the government, according to the ""Agreement on cooperation in the field of education between the governments of Turkmenistan and Afghanistan"", it is proposed to take a group of Afghan citizens for free courses on language courses at the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after S.Seydi.
