Chemical Industry Workers’ Day was established in Turkmenistan

At the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Ukase on establishing Chemical Industry Workers’ Day. The Garlyk Mining and Processing Complex commissioning day – March 31 was selected as the date for the professional holiday. The opening of the industrial giant – the largest plant in the Central Asian region for the production of potash fertilizers was attended by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. The enterprise with capacity of 1 million 400 thousand tons of potassium chloride per year was built to order of the “Turkmenhimiýa” State Concern by the “Belgorkhimprom” Open Joint-Stock Company of the Republic of Belarus in collaboration with Turkmen specialists.
