Representatives of the Mejlis, the Turkmen National Institute of Democracy and Human Rights under the President of Turkmenistan, the National Institute of Education, the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, the public organizations, specialists from several ministries and departments, teachers and students of the institutes of higher education and mass media members attended the event organized by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited Ahalteke Equestrian Complex. Recently, the territory of the complex turned into blooming oasis. By the initiative of the Head of the State, National greening programme is carried out in the country.

The presentation of the book ""Turkmenistan is the heart of the Great Silk Road"" by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took place in the assembly hall of the China University of Petroleum with the participation of Turkmen students, who get education in the higher educational institutions in Beijing.

The Mejlis of Turkmenistan has held a meeting with the wife of the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani – Rula Ghani, who arrived to attend the 7th Regional Economic Conference on Afghanistan.

Cooperation in sustainable development and management of water resources of the Central Asia is a subject of the meeting held under the chairmanship of Turkmenistan in International Fund for Saving of Aral Sea (IFAS) in 2017 – 2019.

On occasion of remarkable events, honouring of the masters of high crops productivity, various mass and sport actions, topical conferences and exhibition were organized and celebration tables were set in Ashgabat and the regions.

It is deeply symbolic that this festival is celebrated on the national level, as it reflects the people’s pride for the abundant harvest and manifests the love for the motherland, states the Presidential address.

On the second Sunday in November, the Turkmen people will celebrate the harvest festival. According to the program of celebrations prepared by the agro-industrial complex of Turkmenistan, the main events of this day will be held in the Ashgabat equestrian sport complex. There will be organized exhibitions of agricultural products, as well as fine and decorative arts, sports, national games, concerts by masters of arts and popular horse races.

An international exhibition entitled “Education and Sport in the Epoch of Power and Happiness” has opened in the Expo Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan (CCIT). It was co-organized by the Ministry of Education, the State Sports Committee and the CCIT.

President of Turkmenistan, who is currently on working trip to Balkan velayat, paid the visit to multifunctional sport complex Avaza and made bicycle ride around the sea resort.
