In the educational system of modern Turkmenistan, advanced approaches to learning foreign languages are being introduced at all levels of education; and methods of teaching are being improved.

Nearby Bagabat village of Ak bugday etrap of Akhal velayat, it was held action on destruction of drugs, infringing cigarettes and psychotropic substances, seized during the special-forces raid, conducted jointly with law-enforcement and military bodies of Turkmenistan. Organized by the Government, the State Coordination Commission on the struggle against drugs under the Cabinet of Ministers and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, this event became a plain evidence of the state’s and society’s determination to confront one of the most dangerous challenges of modernity.

In the conference hall of the capital National Institute of Sports and Tourism the ceremony in honour of prize-winners of international tournaments which passed in early December, took place.

On the occasion of International Neutrality Day, 1690 persons became Turkmen citizens. The relevant Decree has been signed by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the Government session.
