By Decrees of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov:

By the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanmuhammet Atayev was appointed as the Chairman of the State Association of Food Industry of Turkmenistan.

New Year congratulations and best wishes were addressed to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov by President of USA Donald Trump and members of his family, Head of the Executive Power of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Dr Abdulla Abdulla, Vice-president of United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister, the Ruler of Dubai Muhammed Bin Rasheed Al Makhtoum, Royal Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of United Arab Emirates Muhammed Bin Zayed Al Nahayan, Secretary General of the NATO Jens Stoltenberg.

According to new administrative and territorial division of Ahal Velayat, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution assigning the following:

In accordance with instructions of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on improving the administrative and territorial division of our country; to bring up the administrative and territorial division of Ahal povince to modern standards; to accommodate proposals by the people of the province to unite several districts and restore their historical names; in the light of a request by the Ahal Regional Administration and proposal by the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan; under the Law of Turkmenistan “On Procedures of Resolving Issues of Administrative and Territorial Division of Turkmenistan”, the National Parliament of Turkmenistan has decided:

To bring up the administrative and territorial division of Ashgabat to modern standards; to aggregate municipal districts; in the light of a request by the Ashgabat City Administration and proposal by the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan; under the Law of Turkmenistan “On Procedures of Resolving Issues of Administrative and Territorial Division of Turkmenistan”, the National Parliament of Turkmenistan has decided:

Regular 26th session of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the fifth convocation where number of new laws and bills were adopted took place. Members of the Government, heads of relative ministries and departments, hyakims of Ashgabat and Ahal Velayat, representatives of mass media were invited to participate in the session.

According to the Resolutions of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Jumageldy Garayev was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Automobile Transport;

Prime Minister of Japan Sindzo Abe, the King of Morocco Mohammed VI, theGreat Duke of Luxemburg Henri addressed New Year greetings and best wishes of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Turkmen nation.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev addressed the congratulations to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the countries.
