Nine feature films created by Russian cinematographers in different years compiled the program of the Days of Russian Cinema, which opened today in the capital, in the Ashgabat cinema center.

Cultural Days of the Republic of Croatia in Turkmenistan came to a close in Ashgabat. The cultural program included various events. A photo exhibition, Intangible Heritage of the Republic of Croatia, that took place at the exhibition hall of the Museum of Fine Arts, sought to introduce visitors to the ancient cultural traditions of the Istrian Peninsula, the city of Dubrovnik, the island of Hvar etc. The diversity of genres and artistic expressions was reflected in the works that illustrated the peculiarities of the art of singing and dancing, the decorative and applied art and crafts, and the national cuisine. The photographs that captured the highlights of Croatian festivals and celebrations occupied a special place at the exhibition.

The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Ukraine participated in the fifth Outlook World Culture Festival, a festival that celebrates a multitude of cultures from across the globe, which took place at the Mystetskyi Arsenal National Cultural and Art Complex in Kiev on October 27.

Ashgabat hosted opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Croatia in Turkmenistan and photo exhibition dedicated to intangible cultural heritage of friendly state.

The State Museum of Turkmenistan hosted a round table: “The Great Silk Road: from Ancient to Modern Times”. The forum was co-organized by the Ministry of Culture and the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan. It was attended by the representatives of the academic circles of our country and Russia; the representatives of the mass media and the academic staff of the local universities, as well as the students of the joint A.S. Pushkin Turkmen-Russian secondary school.

Members of our delegation who came to Tajikistan to participate in the Days of Turkmenistan Culture have visited Dusti settlement – the administration centre of Jaykhun region, Khatlon Province.

The programme of the Days of Turkmenistan Culture in the Republic of Tajikistan is very rich and allows making expanded impression of carefully preserved cultural traditions, which are passed from generation to generation, as well as of the trends of their development in modern age.

Special train with cultural delegation of our country went across the territory of Uzbekistan on its way to the Republic of Tajikistan. The meeting ceremony with the representatives of culture, public, Uzbek mass media as well as with Turkmen diaspora and art masters took place at the railway station of Termez city.

International Exhibition and Conference Tourism and Travel will be held in Avaza National tourist zone on October 9 – 10. Participation of foreign tourist companies as well as international travel agencies and companies specialized in hotel business, representatives of business circles, scientist and specialists expressing the interest in tourism and travelling is planned in the forum.
