At the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on March 2, the President of Turkmenistan focused on increasing the efficiency of the development of tourism. On the territory of our country there are monuments of world significance, including the Ancient Merv - one of the centers of the world civilization, having no analogues of natural attractions, such as Koytendag. We also have unique monuments of history and culture. All these objects are attractive for tourists, and we have the necessary conditions for their servicing, the Head of the state said, instructing Vice premier Abdyyeva B., supervising the sphere of culture, to analyze this issue and prepare an appropriate program for the development of tourism in Turkmenistan.
