In order to further increase cotton production volumes based on the rational use of land, water, agricultural machinery and mineral fertilisers, high-quality implementation of agricultural measures in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution. In accordance with the document, the Ministry of Agriculture, the State Concern «Türkmenpagta», the hakimliks of the Ahal, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary velayats were instructed to:

– ensure the production of appropriate volumes of cotton in Turkmenistan in 2025, organizing the work of tenants, land users and landowners at a high level;

– place cotton seeds in etraps taking into account soil and climatic conditions in accordance with the plan approved by the Ministry of Agriculture.

Based on the contract concluded with cotton producers, it is ordered to provide them with the following within the timeframes corresponding to agrotechnical standards:

– The State Concern «Türkmenpagta» with the necessary volumes of high-quality cotton seeds;

– The State Association «Türkmenobahyzmat» with technical services related to the preparation of land for sowing, sowing cotton, caring for crops and harvesting cotton;

– The State Water Management Committee – with the appropriate volumes of irrigation water;

– The State Concern «Türkmenhimiýa» – with the appropriate volumes of fertilisers.
