During his visit to the Austrian Republic, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag participated in the International Vienna Energy and Climate Forum.

By pursuing a foreign policy based on the principles of peacefulness and positive neutrality, Turkmenistan demonstrates a forward-looking approach to developing fruitful cooperation both bilaterally and at the regional, interregional, and global levels. In this regard, our country regularly puts forward initiatives aimed at strengthening mutually beneficial partnerships in various formats. One clear example of this is the traditional relations with neighboring states, with whose peoples the Turkmen people are united by historically established bonds of friendship and brotherhood, as well as shared cultural and spiritual values.

As part of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs), the Avaza National Tourist Zone hosted the event “Connectivity: Digital Opportunities Beyond Borders” dedicated to the role of digital transformation in addressing such issues as high transportation costs, the need for transit routes, and limited opportunities for economic diversification in these countries.

Development of friendly, brotherly relations with neighbouring states is one of the priority vectors of the foreign policy strategy of neutral Turkmenistan, which takes an initiative position in promotion of constructive regional and international cooperation.

Under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the comprehensive work carried out in the agricultural sector on the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag, is being brought to a qualitatively new level.

In the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, Turkmenistan under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov continues to follow steadily the creative foreign policy initiated by Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Displaying its adherence to principles of positive neutrality, peaceful disposition and good neighbourhood, our fatherland makes a concrete contribution to development of equal constructive partnership in regional and global dimensions. At that, a special significance is given to strategic interaction with the United Nations Organization, which bears a multivector character.

The past week was rich in events, which visually testifies to confident advancement of Turkmenistan on the path of peace, creation and progress. Further integration into the modern world economic system - efforts of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on achievement of such strategic targets as the strengthening of economic power of our fatherland and enhancement of mutually beneficial cooperation with foreign partners as well as increase of well-being of our people are aimed at this main goal.

Development of fruitful relations with states of the Asian-Pacific region acts as one of the priority vectors of the foreign policy of our fatherland based on principles of positive neutrality, peaceful disposition and constructive equal cooperation with all interested foreign partners. 

It is an indisputable fact that science is a basis of progress, a driving force of transformations in all spheres of life of state and society in the modern world.

The past week was marked by a number of the events reflecting sequence of the course of home and foreign policy, pursued by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov aimed at further increase of well-being of Turkmen people, economic potential of our fatherland and expansion of international cooperation.
