Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via the digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T.Atahallyev, who oversees the agro-industrial complex, and the khyakims of the velayats to consider the progress of seasonal field work in the country.

The first word was given to the khyakim of Ahal velayat R.Hojagulyev, who reported on the pace of agricultural campaigns in the region.

As noted, the grain harvest season is currently in full swing in the velayat. Measures are being taken to organize the harvest, uninterrupted transportation of harvested wheat to collection points and its proper storage, and timely payment to grain growers for the harvest.

Maintenance work is carried out on the cotton fields of the velayat, in particular, thinning, weeding, and feeding with mineral fertilizers and vegetation watering.

At the same time, the harvest of potatoes and vegetable and melon crops is being gathered without loss.

The khyakim also reported on the state of affairs at the construction sites of social and industrial facilities within the framework of the “Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022–2028” and the National Rural Program, the commissioning of which is planned for this year.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of the currently ongoing seasonal agricultural work and, in this regard, assigned the khyakim to ensure the grain harvest in the shortest possible time and without loss, and proper care of the cotton plant.

The head of state also noted the need to successfully implement the tasks provided by the country’s socio-economic development programs, instructing the khyakim to keep under control the work carried out in the velayat in this direction.

Then the khyakim of Balkan velayat H.Ashyrmyradov reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns.

As noted, the region continues to harvest the grown wheat crop without loss, and steps are being taken for the coordinated work of all structures involved in the harvest, as well as for timely payment to grain growers for the delivered grain.

Fields sown with cotton are maintained and irrigated in accordance with agricultural standards.

In accordance with the tasks set by the head of state to increase the volume of potatoes and other vegetable and melon crops produced in the country, as well as to further strengthen food abundance, the harvest of these crops is currently continuing in the agricultural areas of the velayat.

In addition, the khyakim reported on the progress of construction of social and industrial facilities in accordance with the “Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022–2028”, the opening of which is planned in the velayat for the current year.

Summarizing the report, the head of state emphasized the importance of harvesting wheat grown with the diligence of farmers in a short time and without losses, caring for cotton in compliance with agricultural technology standards, giving specific instructions to the khyakim.

The President of the country also ordered to keep under constant control the implementation of construction work at a high quality level and on time at various facilities planned for commissioning this year as part of the country’s socio-economic development programs.

Next, the working meeting via the digital system continued with a report from the khyakim of Dashoguz velayat S.Soltanmyradov on the pace of seasonal agricultural campaigns.

As noted, the region is currently continuing to organize the harvesting of the grown wheat crop without loss and its uninterrupted transportation to receiving points. Payments to grain growers for the delivered harvest are made in a timely manner.

In the fields of the velayat sown with cotton, inter-row cultivation, weeding, thinning, fertilizing with mineral fertilizers and vegetation irrigation continue in accordance with agricultural technology standards. Agricultural machinery and units are fully involved in these works.

Guided by the tasks set to provide the population with sufficient quantities of potatoes and vegetable and melon crops produced in the country, the velayat is collecting the grown crops of these crops and delivering them to the population.

At the same time, the rice fields continue to be maintained and fertilized with mineral fertilizers in accordance with agricultural standards.

The khyakim also reported on the state of affairs in the construction of social and industrial facilities within the framework of the National Rural Program, the opening and commissioning of which is planned in the velayat this year.

After listening to the report, the President of the country emphasized the importance of organized mowing, ensuring the coordinated work of all structures involved in this important season, as well as proper implementation of agro-technical requirements in areas sown with cotton and rice. In this context, a number of specific instructions were addressed to the khyakim.

The head of state also ordered to keep under constant control the implementation of construction work at various facilities within the framework of the country’s socio-economic development programs scheduled for opening this year with high quality and on time.

Then the khyakim of Lebap velayat Sh.Amangeldiev reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns.

As noted, the region is taking the necessary measures to harvest the grown wheat crop as quickly and without loss. Combine harvesters, trucks used for transporting grain, and receiving points are uninterruptedly used. Plowing is underway in the areas freed up after the mowing. Payments to farmers for collected grain are made in a timely manner.

In areas sown with cotton, inter-row cultivation, weeding, fertilizing with mineral fertilizers and vegetation irrigation continue in accordance with agricultural technology standards.

At the same time, work is underway to collect the grown crops of other crops and provide markets with these products in the proper volume.

Also, rice sowing continues in the velayat, and crops are being cared for in accordance with agricultural standards.

In addition, the khyakim reported on the progress of construction work on social and industrial facilities within the framework of the “Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022–2028” and the National Rural Program, the commissioning of which is scheduled in the velayat this year.

After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that currently workers in the agricultural industry are faced with important tasks and for their successful implementation the necessary measures should be taken, instructing the khyakim to ensure the organized conduct of the grain harvest, proper care of cotton crops, as well as sowing rice within agro-technical terms.

In addition, the head of state ordered to keep under control the quality and timing of the construction of facilities for various purposes within the framework of the National Rural Program, planned to open in the velayat this year.

Further, khyakim of Mary velayat B.Orazov reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns ongoing in the velayat.

As reported, these days the region is taking measures to collect the grown wheat crop without loss and in the shortest possible time, as well as its uninterrupted transportation to collection points. Timely payments are made to producers for the delivered grain.

In the fields of the velayat sown with cotton, inter-row cultivation, weeding, thinning, fertilizing with mineral fertilizers and watering are carried out in accordance with agricultural technology standards.

Along with this, work is underway to collect the harvested potatoes and other vegetable and melon crops and deliver them to the population.

Next, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T.Atahallyev reported on the progress of ongoing seasonal agricultural campaigns in the country.

As noted, thanks to the support of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the grain harvest continues at an intensive pace in the velayats. Relevant work is being carried out to collect grown wheat without loss and its uninterrupted transportation to collection points, as well as to timely pay producers for the harvest delivered to the state. Currently, grain growers have delivered over 1 million tons of wheat to the harvest of the Homeland.

In the cotton fields of the country, inter-row cultivation, weeding and thinning, fertilizing with mineral fertilizers and vegetation irrigation are carried out.

In the agricultural areas of the velayats, caring for crops of other crops, harvesting the grown crops and providing markets with these products continues in a coordinated manner.

In Dashoguz velayat, rice fields are being cared for, and in Lebap velayat, rice is being sowed at the final stage.

In the country’s forests, pastures and crop fields, the necessary measures are being taken to prevent fires that may occur due to rising air temperatures.

After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the agricultural industry has an important role in strengthening food abundance in the country and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to keep under control the collection of wheat harvested in a short time and without loss, grown by the dedicated labor of grain growers, as well as strict adherence to agricultural standards cotton care.

Addressing the participants of the working meeting, the head of state noted that it is important to ensure a high organizational level of the grain harvest, which is in full swing, and to prepare now for planting the harvest of other agricultural crops for the next year, having given a number of instructions in this regard.
