Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyev, who is in charge of the agro-industrial complex, and the velayat khyakims, during which the progress of work in the agro-industrial complex and velayats of the country was reviewed.

The floor was first given to Akhal Velayat Khyakim R. Hojagulyev, who reported on the pace of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the region.

As was reported, wheat fields are treated in accordance with agro-technical standards. Land plowing and planning are carried out in cotton fields.

The necessary measures are taken to prepare agricultural machinery and equipment to be operated in the upcoming spring sowing of cotton, to provide cotton growers with high-quality seeds, as well as to process seeds at ginning enterprises.

The khyakim also reported on the work to prepare the land for the spring planting of potatoes, vegetable, watermelon and melon crops, as well as to clean the irrigation and collector-drainage systems and areas around the sown areas in the velayat.

Having heard the report, Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of proper conduct of seasonal agricultural campaigns at present and gave the khyakim instructions regarding compliance with agro-technical standards when treating wheat fields.

The President of Turkmenistan also ordered to provide cotton growers with high-quality seeds, speed up the processing of seeds and keep preparations for the spring planting of vegetable, watermelon and melon crops under strict control.

Then Balkan Velayat Khyakim H. Ashirmyradov reported on the progress of agricultural works.

As was reported, wheat crops are cared for in accordance with agro-technical standards. Land plowing and planning, vegetative irrigation, checkup of agricultural machinery and equipment and timely provision of cotton growers with high-quality seeds are in progress as part of preparation for the upcoming cotton sowing.

At the same time, the necessary measures are taken in the region to prepare areas, seeds and machinery for the spring planting of potatoes and other fruit and vegetable crops. Moreover, in order to improve the reclamation condition of farmland, work is underway to clean irrigation and collector-drainage systems, areas around crops sown fields.

Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of ensuring the high quality of agricultural works ongoing these days. In this regard, the khyakim was instructed to keep under control the compliance with agro-technical requirements when treating wheat fields in the velayat, accelerated preparation of land for sowing cotton, and high-quality seeds, as well as for the planting of potatoes and other vegetable, watermelon and melons crops

The working meeting via a digital system was continued with a report from Dashoguz Velayat Khyakim S. Soltanmyradov on the progress of agricultural work in the region.

At the same time, measures are taken in the region to improve the reclamation condition of agricultural lands, including cleaning irrigation and collector-drainage systems and areas around cultivated fields.

Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of carrying out current agricultural works at the proper level. The khyakim was instructed to ensure compliance with agro-technical standards when treating wheat fields, accelerated preparation of lands for the future sowing of cotton, vegetable, watermelon and melon crops, and high-quality seeds.

Then Lebap Velayat Khyakim Sh. Amangeldiev reported on the pace of seasonal agricultural campaigns.

The khyakim also reported on preparations ongoing in the velayat for the spring sowing of potatoes, other fruits and vegetable crops, cleaning irrigation and collector-drainage systems, and areas around the cultivated fields.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of ensuring the high quality of seasonal agricultural work currently under way in the agro-industrial complex. In this regard, the khyakim was instructed to keep under control the issues of compliance with agro-technical standards when treating wheat fields in the velayat, accelerated cultivation of land for the upcoming sowing of cotton, providing tenants with high-quality seeds, as well as comprehensive preparation for the spring sowing of potatoes and other vegetable, watermelon and melon crops.

Further, Mary Velayat Khyakim B. Orazov reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns.

As was reported, work is carried out in the wheat fields to care for the crops.

At the same time, the cultivation of areas allocated for cotton continues, in particular land plowing and planning, application of mineral fertilizers, as well as bringing the machinery and equipment to be operated in the spring sowing into proper condition, providing farmers with selected seeds. All work is under constant control.

Along with this, the necessary steps are taken to prepare the land, seeds and technical fleet for planting potatoes and other vegetable, watermelon and melon crops.

The governor of the region also reported on measures taken to clean irrigation and collector-drainage systems and areas around cultivated fields.

Summing up the report, and emphasizing the importance of high-quality conduct of seasonal agricultural campaigns, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to keep under constant control the compliance with agro-technical standards when treating wheat fields, cultivating areas for cotton, as well as the provision of farmers with selected seeds, preparation for planting potatoes and other vegetable, watermelon and melon crops. At the same time, the pace of work must be increased, the head of state stressed.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyev, who supervises the agro-industrial complex, reported on the dynamics of seasonal agricultural work.

As was reported, in order to grow and gasther a high wheat yield, work is carried out in the grain fields in accordance with agro-technical standards, and land plowing and planning is under way in the areas allocated for sowing cotton.

Seeds are stoçked at cotton ginning enterprises by processing raw materials in order to provide cotton growers with high-quality seeds.

Preparations for the spring sowing season are ongoing at the planned pace, in particular agricultural machinery and equipment are brought into readiness, and lands allocated for planting potatoes, vegetable, watermelon and melon crops are treated.

Having heard the report and highlighting the need for high-quality completion of field works in accordance with agro-technical standards and schedule, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to focus on preparing areas for the cotton sowing and high-quality seeds for the upcoming season. At the same time, the deputy prime minister was instructed to keep under control compliance with the agro-technical requirements when caring for wheat crop, cultivating lands for planting potatoes and other vegetable, watermelon and melon crops, as well as providing farmers with seeds.

Addressing the governors of velayats, the head of state emphasized the importance of implementing the provisions outlined in the National Rural Program for the current year, and maintaining the trouble-free electricity, gas and water supplies to the population, ordering to keep these issues under review.

Concluding the working meeting via a digital system, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished its participants sound health and great success in large-scale work for the prosperity of the sovereign Homeland and the wellbeing of the people.
