Today, the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Center hosted the presentation of a new book by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “Continuation of the Meaning of My Life” (“Ömrümiň manysynyň dowamaty”). As it is known, the first exemplars of this publication were handed over to the participants of the joint meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Security Council of Turkmenistan, held on June 28.

The ceremony, attended by members of the Government, the Mejlis deputies, heads and representatives of a number of ministries and departments, public organizations, culture and arts, honorary elders, student youth and mass media, was held in an atmosphere of solemnity.

An exhibition reflecting the rich cultural heritage and creative traditions of the Turkmen people was a great addition to the current event. Here are examples of fine and decorative arts – man-made evidence of our ancient history and rich culture. In addition, Turkmen musical instruments and national clothes were demonstrated.

The central exhibits of the exposition were the new work of the Hero-Arkadag, as well as the works of his father, Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov.

Inspired performances by the artists of the Main Academic Drama Theater named after the Great Saparmyrat Turkmenbashy with the literary and artistic composition “Arkadagymyzyň eserleri – nesil terbiýesiniň egsilmez hazynasy” brought bright colors. It reveals the important role and value of books in human life, the significance of the works of the Hero-Arkadag in the education of the younger generation.

The book consists of several chapters, and its titles themselves announce their deep content: “Meaning of My Life – My People” (“Ömrümiň manysy – il-halkym”), “Moments Engraved in the Memory” (“Hakydada orun alan pursatlar”), “A good Person is Unforgettable” (“Ýagşy adam ýatdan çykmaz”), “Motherland is Maternal Soul” (“Watan – enäniň kalby”), “On the Path of the Revival of the Great Silk Road” (“Beýik Ýüpek ýoluny dikeltmek ugrunda”), “Upbringing – a Source of Happiness” (“Terbiýe – bagtyýarlygyň çeşmesi”), “Meaning of Noble Life” (“Mertebeli ýaşaýşyň manysy”) hem-de “Live Long Life!” (“Ömrüňiz uzak bolsun!”). The masterful literary presentation takes the reader into the world of deep reflections on our glorious era, history and culture.

The new edition is distinguished by the variety of themes and characters, the richness and clarity of the language, the metaphorical use of popular expressions from folk art, the wisdom of the sayings of philosophers, and prominent historical figures. All this increases the value and significance of the work, which will serve as a key to understanding the rich spiritual world of the Turkmens.

The pages of a new philosophical and literary work combine the memories of the Hero-Arkadag about the significant stages of his life, dreams and hopes, feelings and thoughts that are valuable for every person. This is an emotional work filled with life and love about the stages of development of our Homeland – Turkmenistan.

Speakers at the presentation emphasized the great educational value of the new book of the National Leader of the Turkmen people “Continuation of the Meaning of My Life” (“Ömrümiň manysynyň dowamaty”), which tells about the historical heritage of the nation, and indicates the continuation of the traditions of our ancestors.

The participants of the event were unanimous in their opinion that the work of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Hero-Arkadag, makes it possible to become more familiar with the history of the Turkmen people, the peculiarities of their mentality and life principles, and comprehend the contribution of Turkmens to world scientific, economic and cultural progress. In addition, the pages of the book touch upon such topics as the great achievements of our ancestors, the spiritual values of the nation, the principles of sacred independence, permanent neutrality, the further prosperity of our native land, as well as the author’s reflections on our present and future.

In the chapter “Moments Engraved in the Memory” (“Hakydada orun alan pursatlar”), the author reasons upon the strengthening of national healthcare, the establishment of modern sanatorium and medical services, ensuring the healthy development of children, and comprehensive support for young people. Here the Hero-Arkadag tells about the activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, including the choice of the name of the Foundation, which is consonant with the words “blessing” and “kindness”.

Separate chapters of the new edition are devoted to the history of friendly relations with foreign countries, prominent politicians, based on the principles of friendship and brotherhood. Thanks to this approach, our country successfully cooperates with many countries and authoritative international organizations. The long-term development of friendly ties is of particular importance. In this context, the pages of the book describe the initiatives of the Hero-Arkadag aimed at strengthening cooperation.

In the chapter “Motherland is Maternal Soul” (“Watan – enäniň kalby”) the reader will find invaluable advice, information about the interesting and meaningful life of the parents of Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov – Myalikguly and Ogulabat Berdimuhamedovs. Here we are talking about enduring values: the hearth, loyalty to the Motherland, the upbringing of the younger generation, hard work, patriotism, humanism, goodwill, which, according to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, is the highest manifestation of the best human qualities. Ogulabat eje and Myalikguly aga brought up their children in the best traditions of the Turkmen family did everything to make their children become worthy people. The upbringing and personal example of the parents determined the life path of the Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Serdar.

The book, published by the Turkmen State Publishing Service, is made at a high printing level and is provided with colorful thematic illustrations. This work highlights the humanitarian activities of Arkadag, his tireless efforts aimed at the well-being of every citizen of Turkmenistan.

During the presentation, attendees delighted the poems, performances by artists and folklore and ethnographic groups.

The concert program reflected the richness and diversity of modern Turkmen art, and the invaluable significance of the Hero-Arkadag’s books in the upbringing of the younger generation was expressed by force of the artistic word.

Each performance was accompanied by best wishes to Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. These were words about selfless love for the sovereign Homeland, the nationwide respect for the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the achievements of the President of Turkmenistan in the modern epoch, who worthily continues great undertakings.

The final chord of the festivity was the song “Arkadagly Serdarly Watan”, which reflected the great achievements of the country and its rapid development, the pride of the people for the current happy epoch of an independent neutral Homeland, striving for a brighter future.

At the end of the presentation of the new book of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “Continuation of the Meaning of My Life” (“Ömrümiň manysynyň dowamaty”), the speakers emphasized that this work, of course, will become a spiritual support and beacon for our people, illuminating the path to achieving great goals in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state.
