Today, telephone conversation between President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan took place.

Having warmly greeted the Turkish leader, the head of the state thanked the President of the Republic of Turkiye for the gift handed to National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and new electric cars “TOGG” of Turkish manufacture to him.

Delivery of keys to cars on the opening day of the city of Arkadag constructed at the initiative of Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the basis of the concept of "smart city”, coincided with the happy birthday of the National Leader of the Turkmen people that increased pleasure of the significant event, the President of the country stated.

As was marked, the fact of the beginning of manufacture of electric cars “TOGG” is the next evidence that the Republic of Turkiye becomes the state developed in all areas.

Having noted that strengthening of long-term cooperation with Turkey in various spheres acts as one of the important vectors of foreign policy of our country, the President of Turkmenistan expressed his gratitude to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for attention and personal contribution to development of multiplane bilateral partnership.

Having thanked for kind words, the President of the Republic of Turkiye congratulated the head of the state on commissioning of objects of the first stage of construction of the unique city of Arkadag as well as the happy birthday of the National Leader of the Turkmen people. As the head of the brotherly state noted, demonstration of white electric cars of the Turkish mark “TOGG” within the solemn ceremony of opening of the city of Arkadag became for him an unexpected pleasant surprise. This event has once again shown durability of bonds of friendship and goodwill between two peoples.

As was marked, the commissioning of projects of the “smart city”, which have no analogues in the region speaks of success of the state policy realised in Turkmenistan with a strongly displayed social orientation, and the country focused on all-round innovative development, growth of its economic potential.

During the telephone conversation, interlocutors appreciated development of the Turkmen -Turkish dialogue based on principles of trust and mutual respect, having confirmed invariable adherence of two countries to all-round expansion of the established relations and their supplementation.

Taking an opportunity, the head of Turkmenistan once again congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdogan with one of the important events in the history of Turkiye – his re-election for the post of the President of the Republic of Turkiye, having expressed sincere wishes of health and successes in his responsible state activity and further progress and prosperity to the brotherly Turkish people.

Taking an opportunity, President of Turkish Republic Recep Tayyip Erdogan conveyed to National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov his sincere congratulations on Gurban bayramy and wishes that the Almighty would accept the pilgrimage of Hajy Arkadag to the city of Mecca.

Interlocutors exchanged warm congratulations to the peoples of two countries on the occasion of sacred Gurban bayramy of all Muslims, having wished that these blessed days sadaka and prayers would be accepted by the Almighty.
