Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A. Yazmyradov, who is in charge of the agro-industrial complex, and the hyakims of velayats. Issues of developing the country’s regions, as well as the progress of agricultural campaigns, were submitted for consideration.

The floor was first given to Akhal Velayat Khyakim Ya. Gurbanov, who reported on the pace of seasonal agricultural campaigns.

As was reported, wheat harvest is under way in the velayat in an organized manner, combine harvesters, vehicles for transporting grain, and collection points are operated smoothly. Plowing is carried out in the fields vacated from wheat.

In order to gather a bountiful harvest in the lands sown to cotton, the application of mineral fertilizers and irrigation continue.

Guided by the objectives set by the head of state to supply the population with potatoes and other crops in full, efforts are currently made to harvest the ripen crop without loss.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the importance of holding the wheat harvest at a high level and completing it as soon as possible, a responsible and comprehensive approach to achieving the goals set, giving a number of instructions in this regard.

The head of state gave the governor of the region a number of specific instructions regarding the timely organization of plowing in the fields vacated from wheat, and ordered to control the work on caring for cotton within agro-technical terms and accelerate the pace thereof.

Then Balkan Velayat Khyakim T. Atahallyev reported on the state of affairs in the region.

Currently, steps are taken to complete the grain harvest in an organized manner, ensure the coordinated operation of combine harvesters, vehicles for transporting grain, and collection points. Plowing began in the fields vacated from wheat.

Along with this, work is under way in the areas sown to cotton to apply mineral fertilizers, irrigate seedlings, and efforts are made to harvest the ripen potatoes, onions and other crops without loss.

Having heard the report, the head of state pointed out the necessity to take urgent measures for the high quality and organized conduct of an important campaign in agriculture - wheat harvest, as well as the uninterrupted operation of combine harvesters and vehicles for transporting grain, and instructed the khyakim to ensure timely and organized work of all structures and strictly control the plowing of lands in the fields vacated from wheat.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed the importance of carrying out all agricultural activities related to the care for cotton within agro-technical terms in order to gather a bountiful harvest this year, ordering to step up the pace of seasonal field campaigns and giving the khyakim a number of instructions.

The working meeting via a digital system was continued with the report of Dashoguz Velayat Khyakim N. Nazarmyradov on the state of affairs in the fields of the northern region of the country.

As was reported, the uninterrupted operation of combine harvesters, vehicles for transporting grain, and collection points is organized for an organized high-level harvesting. Along with this, plowing began in the fields vacated from wheat.

Treatment is carried out in the areas sown to cotton in accordance with the agro-technical requirements.

Efforts are made to harvest potatoes, onions and other crops without loss, and the care for rice continues.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the high-quality conduct of seasonal field campaigns within agro-technical terms is a requirement of the time, and stressed the need for a responsible approach to fulfilling the objectives set for the organized and high-quality harvesting of grain, giving the khyakim a number of specific instructions.

The head of state also ordered to increase the pace and keep under control the work on plowing the lands vacated from wheat and caring for cotton crops.

Then Lebap Velayat Khyakim Sh. Amangeldiyev reported on the state of affairs in the fields of the region.

As was reported, complex measures are currently taken to ensure smooth activities at the harvest of grain, while all equipment and machines are operated at full capacity. Plowing began in the lands vacated from wheat.

Work is under way in the fields sown to cotton in strict compliance with agro-technical standards, including thinning, inter-row cultivation, application of mineral fertilizers, weeding and irrigation.

Harvesting of potatoes, onions and other crops has begun in the velayat, and measures are taken to deliver them to local markets. Rice sowing is carried out in an organized manner.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the importance of the ongoing agricultural campaigns in the fields of the region, highlighting the urgency of completing the grain harvesting quickly and without loss, and immediately delivering the harvested wheat to collection points where it will be stored in proper conditions. The head of state instructed the khyakim to ensure the organized work of all structures participating in the harvest.

The President of the country ordered to ensure timely plowing of the lands vacated from wheat, take care for cotton in accordance with the agro-industrial requirements, as well as to sow rice in an organized manner and within agro-technical terms.

Then Mary Velayat Khyakim D. Annaberdiev reported on the progress of seasonal field work.

Thinning, inter-row cultivation, irrigation, application of mineral fertilizers and weeding in fields sown to cotton are carried out taking into account the agro-technical requirements.

The objectives set by the head of state to grow bountiful crops of potatoes, onions, other fruits and vegetables and supply the markets of the region with these crops are successfully fulfilled.

Having heard the report, and specifying that seasonal field campaigns must be carried out within agro-technical terms and with high quality, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the need to step up the pace of grain harvesting and approach this work comprehensively and with all responsibility, giving a number of instructions to the khyakim in this regard.

The head of state gave specific instructions to the khyakim on strict compliance with agro-technical requirements when caring for cotton, and also emphasized the importance of immediate plowing of the lands vacated from wheat.

Then Deputy Prime-Minister A. Yazmyradov, who supervises the agro-industrial complex, reported on the progress of seasonal field campaigns in the country.

As was reported, these days, domestic grain growers are making efforts for timely harvesting grown wheat without loss. Plowing began in the lands vacated from wheat to prepare them for the next sowing season. All available equipment and machines are operated in the grain harvest at full capacity, as well as vehicles for interruptedly transporting the harvested crop to the collection points.

On the instructions of the head of state, all seasonal agricultural work is carried out in an organized manner, within the established agro-technical terms. Inter-row cultivation, weeding, thinning, irrigation and application of mineral fertilizers continue in the fields sown to cotton.

At the same time, potatoes, onions and other crops are cared for, the ripen crop is harvested and sent to the country’s markets in order to provide the population with domestic products in full. The deputy prime-minister reported on the work to care for rice crops in the Dashoguz Velayat and the progress of the ongoing rice sowing in the Lebap Velayat.

Having heard the report, and specifying that it is now a busy time for farmers, and therefore it is important to approach agricultural work with all responsibility, the head of state instructed the deputy prime-minister to accelerate the pace of harvesting grain, ensure uninterrupted and coordinated activities of all structures. The lands vacated from grain crops must be plowed in order to prepare for the next season. Cotton care must be carried out in strict accordance with the agro-technical requirements and terms, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said and ordered to keep these works under strict control. 

Addressing the hyakims of velayats, the President of Turkmenistan pointed out that the implementation of the provisions outlined in the National Rural Program and the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028 is a priority of the state policy, ordering in this regard to take appropriate measures for their successful implementation. All facilities of social, cultural and industrial purposes, the commissioning of which is scheduled for the current year, must be built with high quality and according to schedule.
