Today in the capital's mosque “Hezreti Omar” the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the day of commemoration of dear mother and grandmother - Ogulabat Berdimuhamedova - gave sadaka-agzachar.

In the new historical era, one of the priorities of the state policy, initiated by the Hero-Arkadag and now successfully implemented under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, is the preservation and continuation of the wise traditions and customs of the ancestors, the strengthening in society of the primordial spiritual and moral values of the nation as an integral part of its unique heritage.

It is deeply symbolic that sadaka, dedicated to the blessed memory of Ogulabat eje, is given in the blessed month of Oraza. Its traditions embody high humanistic principles, which have been improved over the millennia in accordance with the rich life experience of the Turkmen people, passed down from generation to generation. This fertile month of fasting and prayer, calling for mercy and doing good deeds, is the personification of the best human qualities, spiritual renewal.

Guided by the noble principles that bind and unite generations, we offer prayers for those who are not with us, for the repose of their souls, honoring the memory of relatives and friends, compatriots who have made a significant contribution to the prosperity of our beloved Fatherland and are an impeccable example of patriotism, devotion to national shrines.

Ogulabat Berdimuhamedova devoted her whole life to serving her native people and Fatherland, home, and raising her descendants. Distinctive features of her character were hard work and dedication, kindness and hospitality, responsiveness and willingness to help others, loyalty to family values. These high qualities earned Ogulabat eje the sincere deep respect of his compatriots.

Together with her husband Myalikguly aga, she raised her children in the best traditions of the Turkmen family, took active care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The upbringing and personal example of the parents determined the life path of the Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Serdar. As the National Leader of the Turkmen people notes, the best character traits in a child are formed thanks to maternal affection, care and love. Ogulabat eje did a lot to ensure that her children become perfect personalities and worthy people.

Great are the merits of Ogulabat Berdimuhamedova in enriching the national heritage in accordance with the spirit of the modern era, maintaining the continuity of the centuries-old traditions of the people, passing on to the descendants of the richest cultural heritage of the nation, including the art of needlework, in which she reached a high level of skill, in raising children. Her life is an exemplary school for young people, a good example for all compatriots. The bright memory of her will forever remain in our hearts.

Like the faithful son of the Motherland - Myalikguly aga, the worthy daughter of the nation - Ogulabat-eje also departed for eternal peace in the holy month of Oraza for all Muslims. May her soul rest in paradise, may the Almighty accept her into his abode!

Greeting everyone and noting that today, following the primordial traditions and customs of the people, fulfilling the duty of humanity, in the holy month of Ramadan, sadaka-agzachar is given in memory of his dear mother Ogulabat Berdimuhamedova, Hero-Arkadag thanked for the numerous condolences in connection with her death, coming from citizens, as well as from leaders of foreign countries.

Ogulabat eje had the best traits and qualities inherent in all mothers, continued the National Leader of the Turkmen people. Maternal care and holiness are the forces on which the universe is based.

Work hardens every person. Diligence and conscientiousness were the meaning of life for Ogulabadje. Speaking about this, Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed that together with his father - Myalikguly aga - she made a lot of efforts so that their children become worthy people.

Children who receive a proper upbringing in the family from their father and mother will definitely find their place in life. As the Hero-Arkadag noted, many people consulted with his mother regarding the original national traditions and customs. The main requirements that Ogulabat eje made to her children are cleanliness and diligence. She also found time to read books and periodicals.

Sharing memories of his mother's childhood, Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said that it was during the war years. The children of those years had a chance to survive the famine. Then the Ashgabat earthquake led to large-scale destruction. This was a big shock for them. But no matter how many difficulties in life, they with pride and courage, courageously endured all the hardships. Thus, their difficult life path became an example for future generations.

Parental education is a reliable support in life. Noting that he shared his memories of his mother in his books, the National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasized that the simplicity of Ogulabat eje was a model for all her children. Courageously passing her life path, she became an example for posterity.

The hero-Arkadag also noted that needlework was an unshakable rule in their family. Ogulabat eje put love, tenderness and diligence into her products.

As the National Leader of the Turkmen people noted, his mother Ogulabat eje, just like his father Myalikguly aga, passed away to the eternal world in the holy month of Ramadan, which is considered the grace of the Almighty.

In conclusion, Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said: “May the Almighty accept sadaka and ayat tovirs in memory of my mother Ogulabat eje, who set an example of loyalty and love for the family hearth! May her resting place be bright, may her soul rest in paradise!”

According to a centuries-old tradition, a tebarek prayer was read in memory of the deceased, after which dishes were served to the participants of the sadaka-agzachar.

At the end of the ritual meal, the mufti of Turkmenistan read an ayat-tovir about the repose in paradise of the soul of Ogulabat eje, the beloved mother of the Hero-Arkadag and the dear grandmother of Arkadaglu Serdar, the faithful daughter of the Motherland.

Then the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan addressed the audience with the words: “Let peace reign in our country under the leadership of Arkadaglu Serdar, and prosperity and abundance reign in the sacred hearths.”

At the end of sadaka-agzachar, Hero-Arkadag also once again thanked everyone for their condolences.

During the sadaqa-agzachar mosques, prayers were offered for the well-being of the people and the prosperity of Turkmenistan, ayat-tovirs were read about the repose of the soul of the worthy daughter of the Motherland, Ogulabat Berdimuhamedova, in paradise.
