Decree of the President of Turkmenistan On the discharge of military personnel serving by conscription from the Armed Forces, other troops and military bodies of Turkmenistan, and the next conscription of citizens of Turkmenistan for military service

In accordance with the Constitution of Turkmenistan and the Law of Turkmenistan «On military duty and military service», I decree:

Dismiss from the Armed Forces, other troops and military bodies of Turkmenistan military personnel serving by conscription who have served the terms established in the Law of Turkmenistan «On military duty and military service» to the reserve in April − June 2026.

Call up for military service in April − June 2026 those male citizens of Turkmenistan who are not entitled to exemption from conscription or the right to a deferment from conscription who have reached the age of 18 by the day of conscription, and those who have lost the right to a deferment from conscription until the age of 27.

This Decree shall enter into force upon its publication.

In pursuance of the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan № 676 of 16^th of March, 2026 «On the dismissal of military personnel serving by conscription from the Armed Forces, other troops and military bodies of Turkmenistan, and the next conscription of citizens of Turkmenistan for military service», the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed an Order according to which the Minister of Defence of Turkmenistan, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Minister of National Security of Turkmenistan, the Head of the State Border Service of Turkmenistan, the Head of the Security Service of the President of Turkmenistan, the Chairman of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan are instructed to discharge military personnel who have served the terms established in the Law of Turkmenistan «On Military Duty and Military Service», in a ceremonial atmosphere in accordance with the dismissal plans, and to reward excellent students of combat and social and humanitarian training.
