Today, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council, in which the work carried out by military and law enforcement bodies for three months of the current year, was summed up. The agenda also included topical issues of security and tranquillity in the independent state, strengthening of material and technical basis of security forces and further improvement of their activity.

The first floor was given to Secretary of the State Security Council, minister of defence B.Gundogdyev, who reported on the work carried out for the designated period to solve successfully tasks proceeding from the military doctrine of defence character and realize the program of development of the armed forces as well as supply them with latest technical means.

The information on practical measures with a view of transfer of servicemen to the reserve and next draft of citizen to the military service at due level according to relevant documents signed by the President of Turkmenistan of March 15, the current year also sounded. The report on ongoing preparation for the military tactical exercises was also delivered.

Having heard the report, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country noted adherence of Turkmenistan to its exceptionally defensive military doctrine. One should prepare properly for the upcoming exercises, the head of the state also said, making an emphasis on importance of organization of activity of all structures of national armed forces taking into account requirements of the time. At that, one should first of all attach attention to further exploration and introduction of advanced world practice in the military sphere.

In addition to it, necessity of transfer of citizens of Turkmenistan to the reserve and their draft in accordance with legislation was stated. Speaking of significance of organization of events for education of young soldiers in the spirit of patriotism and loyalty to the fatherland on a regular basis, the head of the state gave the minister of defence, Secretary of the State Security Council concrete instructions.

Attorney General S.Malikgulyev reported on the results of work of the structure under his supervision for the January-March period of the current year and outcome of inspection in a number of departments at the instruction of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country.

Having drawn the attention to promising plans of the department, the head of Turkmenistan pointed out that one should realize measures aimed at prevention of various offences, establishment of their reasons and conditions. One should keep issues of study of innovative forms of organization of activity of the given department under control and improvement of professional skills of employees and training of advanced achievements in the field of prosecution and investigation activities, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined, giving the Attorney General relevant instructions.

Minister of interior affairs M.Khydyrov reported on practical measures carried out for the period under reporting to ensure public order, prevent offences and introduce the digital system. Practical measures taken for proper work of firefighting service in connection with onset of the hot period of the time was reported separately. The information on residential houses for employees and new administration buildings commissioned into operation for a number of units of the department also sounded.

Having heard the report, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country instructed him to keep issues of equipment of all structures of MIA with modern technologies and digital system in the focus of attention. In this regard, one should introduce innovative methods of work, enhance professional skills of employees with a view of successful solution of tasks for maintenance of public order and prevention of various offences, the President of Turkmenistan marked.

Head of the state Serdar Berdimuhamedov outlined among topical issues explanatory activities on traffic rules in institutions and enterprises and among population and briefings in connection with the upcoming summer season to ensure fire safety.

Chairman of the Supreme Court B.Khojamgulyev reported on the outcome of work carried out by subordinate institutions for three months of the year.

Having heard the report, the President of the country made a special emphasis in significance of improvement of principles of justice and jurisprudence, ensuring of fair and independent adjudication according to the national legislation and generally accepted standards of international law. Having noted necessity of improvement of professional skills of employees, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan gave the head of the department a number of instructions.

Minister of national security N.Atagarayev, who spoke then, reported on measures taken for the designated period to ensure security, reliable defence of achievements of independence of the fatherland as well as instructions given earlier by the head of the state in connection with organization of activity of the ministry and its subdivisions in accordance with requirements of the time and active use of advanced technologies.

Having summed up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined that one of the foremost tasks of MNS is development of favourable social and political climate for further dynamic development of the country. One should take efficient measures for enhancement of work carried out jointly with other law enforcement bodies in this direction, the head of Turkmenistan said giving the minster a number of concrete instructions.

Chairman of the State Border Service Ya.Nuryev reported on the outcome of work carried out for the period under review and practical measures taken to ensure tranquillity at sacred borders of the fatherland. The report on the work carried out to improve work and living conditions of frontiers, modernize the material and technical basis of subordinate structures as well as open new residential houses for servicemen of the given department was also delivered.

Having heard the report, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country underlined that in expansion of peace-loving and constructive relations of Turkmenistan with other countries of the world and strengthening of the status of borders of our independent neutral country as borders of brotherhood and friendship, an important role is given to the border forces. Regular supply of subdivisions of the service with technical equipment requires improvement of professional qualities of servicemen, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov continued his word, giving the head of the department a number of concrete instructions.

Further, minister of Adalat M.Taganov reported on results of the work carried out for three months to realize steadily the unified state policy in rulemaking and law enforcement practice. The report on measures organized among population to explain the essence and significance of adopted laws was also delivered.

Having summed up the report, the head of Turkmenistan noted that the structure is given a great role in modernization of the national legislation basis and its compliance with standards of international law. On the basis of analysis of the current legislation, one should actively develop and submit new up-to-date time regulatory legal acts called to facilitate successful solution of tasks for further socio-economic development of Turkmenistan for consideration of the Mejlis, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country underlined, giving the head of the ministry relevant instructions.

Head of the State Customs Service M.Khudaykuliyev reported on results of the work carried out from the beginning of the year and fulfilment of the program for development of the department. The information on introduction of modern methods and digital system, modernization of material and technical basis of the service was also delivered.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov pointed out significance of further improvement of activity of the given department in creation of favourable conditions for efficient integration of Turkmenistan into the world economic relations, enhancement of quality and forms of foreign economic activity. An inseparable part of the customs policy, which is realized today, is wide use of innovative information technologies in the sphere, the head of the state said, giving the head of the service a number of instructions.

Head of the State Migration Service B.Volsakhatov reported on results of the work carried out for the reporting period and fulfilment of instructions given by the President of Turkmenistan. Practical measures taken for exploration of advanced practice and application of digital system were also informed.

Having summed up the report, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country underlined that in the epoch of active development of international relations, employees of the given department should make their worthy contribution to efficient solution of tasks outlined in the program of development of the department. In this connection, the head of the service was instructed to continue modernization of the material and technical basis at the expense of latest information and technological means as well as to strengthen the personnel potential of the department under his supervision.

Having concluded the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov pointed out that our independent fatherland taking into account its legal status of neutrality steadily maintains relations of friendship and good neighbourhood with countries and peoples of the world. These principles make up a basis of the military doctrine of exceptionally defensive character, in accordance with which further development, improvement of structures of military, law enforcement bodies, and strengthening of defence capacities of the fatherland will continue, the head of Turkmenistan said.

A number of other issues were also considered and relevant decisions were made at the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished all its participants sound health, wellbeing and great successes in their responsible work for the benefit of peaceful and happy life of our people.
