Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A. Yazmyradov, who is in charge of the agro-industrial complex, and the khyakims of velayats, during which the state of affairs in the country’s agricultural lands and other issues were considered.

The floor was first given to Akhal Velayat Khyakim Ya. Gurbanov, who reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural work in the region.

Treatment of wheat fields are under way in accordance with agro-technical standards, in particular, the application of mineral fertilizers, watering, weed and pest control. Necessary measures are taken to complete the cotton sowing in a timely manner.

The plantations of potatoes, onions and other crops are properly treated, and measures are taken to organize the silkworm cocoons production season.

Information was given on the pace of building social and industrial facilities in the velayat, scheduled for commissioning this year as part of the National Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the transformation of social and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, etrap cities and etrap centers for the period up to 2028.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the need to conduct seasonal agricultural campaigns at a proper level and on time.

In this regard, the head of state instructed the khyakim to keep under strict control the timely and high-quality implementation of agricultural work in accordance with agro-technical standards, in particular, with regards to sowing cotton, caring for wheat and other crops.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to strictly control the pace of construction of facilities provided for by the National Rural Program, the commissioning of which is scheduled for the current year.

Then, the Balkan Velayat Khyakim T. Atahallyev reported on the course of seasonal field campaigns.

Cotton sowing, and wheat fields treatment is carried out in accordance with agro-technical standards, in particular, watering and the application of mineral fertilizers, and weed control, as well as for potatoes, onions and other crops.

The President of the country gave the khyakim a number of instructions regarding the completion of cotton sowing within the agro-technical terms, as well as compliance with the agro-technical requirements when caring for wheat, potatoes, onions and other crops.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to keep under constant control the quality of building facilities and structures for various purposes under the Program for socio-economic development of the country in 2022-2028, the commissioning of which is scheduled for the current year.

The working meeting via a digital system was continued by the report of Dashoguz Velayat Khyakim N. Nazarmyradov on the progress of seasonal campaigns in the region.

As was reported, agricultural work is carried out in accordance with agro-technical standards, in particular, vegetative watering and the application of mineral fertilizers in wheat fields, and cotton sowing is in full swing.
