Comprehensive training of personnel is a guarantee of the growth of the economic power of the Fatherland

At an enlarged meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on July 8, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree approving plans for admission to study in 2022 at universities and secondary vocational schools of Turkmenistan. In accordance with the document, higher and secondary vocational educational institutions of the country are ordered to organize admission to study from July 11 to August 26 of this year and conduct entrance exams in velayat centers and the city of Ashgabat.

In order to organize this important campaign at the required level, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Decree approving the composition of the State Commission for Admission to Higher and Secondary Vocational Educational Institutions of Turkmenistan in 2022. The above-mentioned State Commission should carry out organizational and methodological management of admission to study and organize its conduct in the prescribed manner.

The khyakimliks of the velayats and the city of Ashgabat were instructed to create the necessary conditions for the proper functioning of the relevant commissions.

During the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to ensure public control over the conduct of entrance exams, wishing success to future students. This practice makes it possible to ensure continuous monitoring of entrance examinations and thereby enroll the most capable young men and women in universities.

The enrollment campaign, which was preceded by extensive information work among young people, was marked by their high activity, which testifies to the desire of young people for new knowledge and the desire to contribute to increasing the intellectual and economic potential of the Motherland. School graduates were addressed to special TV programs and publications in the domestic media dedicated to higher and secondary vocational educational institutions, where the Days of "open doors" were held.

The universities of our country are important centers of modern education and advanced science, as evidenced by the results of scientific competitions and innovative developments of young scientists and students. Scientific discoveries of young scientists, their industrial and innovative experiences, scientific and engineering ideas, information technology research play an important role in strengthening the power of the state, especially in the development of digital economy structures.

The achievements of the Turkmen youth are the successes of the country, which has entered the era of the Revival of a new era of a powerful state. Young citizens of Turkmenistan have all the opportunities to get a good education, choose their future profession, realize their talents and abilities, life plans.

Their implementation is intended to be facilitated by the socially oriented policy successfully pursued by the head of state Serdar Berdimuhamedov, including the creation of a wide network of modern educational institutions using high computer technologies, multimedia systems, and best practices.

Our era is a time of unprecedented rise in scientific and technological progress, due to the growth in the level of knowledge, technology, enlightenment and creative opportunities. That is why Turkmenistan attaches special importance to the training of qualified, erudite, creatively thinking young personnel who are freely oriented in the achievements of scientific and technological progress.

Thus, during the above-mentioned extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, Arkadaglu Serdar, speaking about the key tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the transport and communication system, stressed that the International Seaport of Turkmenbashi has all the conditions for shipbuilding, and therefore it is necessary to establish this work on a phased basis . In this regard, the head of state noted the importance of training specialized highly qualified specialists and improving the staffing of this area.

Among the specific tasks set by the President of Turkmenistan to the relevant leaders, taking into account the importance of science-intensive technologies in the context of the development of the national economy, the Academy of Sciences should continue relevant research and development in order to widely implement innovations, advanced methods and developments. The need for consistent stimulation of scientific research and discoveries, incorporation of the latest technologies and the latest achievements of world practice into the production process was emphasized.

Of particular importance is the activation of international contacts in the field of education - this is intellectual diplomacy, a link between cultures, educational and scientific systems of different countries and peoples.

Today, Turkmenistan is acquiring valuable experience necessary to increase the competitiveness of national education, its entry into the global educational space and, in general, to build a knowledge-based society.

Thus, among the priority tasks outlined by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at an enlarged meeting of the Government following the results of six months, in order to further improve the quality of education in the country's universities, work should be carried out to include them in the list of well-known educational institutions in the world in terms of knowledge indicators.

Taking a course towards diversifying the economy, creating conditions for the dynamic development of domestic industry, Turkmenistan aims to accelerate the pace and quality of training highly qualified personnel in various fields. On behalf of the head of state, the country's universities are actively cooperating with foreign educational institutions to train young specialists whose knowledge is necessary for the implementation of large-scale and far-sighted development programs aimed at creating advanced highly efficient industries.

Having the opportunity to actively interact with foreign colleagues, thanks to the policy of "open doors" pursued by Turkmenistan and wide international cooperation, the country's universities are systematically improving curricula and plans, textbooks and manuals in accordance with the best international practices. Modern knowledge acquired by our citizens should find practical application in the sectors of the domestic economy, where large-scale transformation programs are currently being implemented to actively introduce advanced technologies and innovations.

The qualifications of the teachers themselves are also improving, who are mastering the latest educational methods and information technologies, international contacts are being built up between educational institutions of the country and abroad. Having established close contacts with prestigious centers of science and education in Europe, Asia, America, Turkmenistan has expanded its participation in international research, interuniversity exchanges and the development of academic information networks.

On the basis of international contracts for the training of specialists in popular areas, our young people receive education in secondary vocational and higher educational institutions of foreign countries.

At the above extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that it is necessary to pay close attention to the education of young people, based on intergovernmental agreements, in higher educational institutions of foreign countries, to prepare proposals for awarding diplomas to students who graduated from higher and secondary vocational educational institutions on a paid basis without a mandatory two-year training.

Consistent development of the education sector - purposeful work to create all conditions for the full disclosure of the intellectual potential of young people is the most important direction of social policy, successfully implemented by the head of Turkmenistan, the main principle of which is "The state is for a person!".

Thus, taking into account the new realities of the time, the grandiose tasks facing the third millennium, it can be said with confidence that the educational policy successfully pursued by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov is aimed at providing a solid humanitarian and personnel base for further advancement of our Motherland.
