Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an online working meeting with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A.Yazmyradov, who oversees the agro-industrial complex, and velayats’ khyakims to discuss the progress of seasonal field work in the country’s regions, as well as the pace of construction of socio-cultural and industrial facilities.

The first floor was given to the khyakim of Akhal velayat Ya.Gurbanov, who reported on the steps taken to accelerate the harvesting campaign of grain, carrying out arable work on fields vacated after mowing-time, caring for cotton, construction of social and industrial facilities in the region.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of high-quality and in the shortest possible time completion of grain harvesting, timely payment for the delivered harvest, uninterrupted transportation of harvested wheat to reception points and proper storage, which is an important requirement of today, addressing a number of specific instructions to the khyakim.

Then the khyakim of Balkan velayat, T.Atakhallyev, reported on seasonal work carried out in the region fields, the pace of grain harvesting, as well as on plowing fields and planting sugar beet.

The head of state underlined that the handling of agricultural lands in the velayat, especially in cotton fields, should be carried out in accordance with agro-technical standards and taking into account advanced farming practices, and it is also necessary to carry out high-quality sowing of sugar beet. The issues of growing rich harvests of potatoes and other vegetable crops, ensuring the abundance of these products in the country’s markets are a priority today.

Then the khyakim of Dashoguz velayat N.Nazarmyradov reported on the state of affairs in the region, the measures taken for the comprehensive organization of grain harvest, agro-technical care of cotton, as well as rice fields.

Arkadagly Serdar highlighted the importance of row-to-row processing of cotton, vegetation irrigation and fertilizing plants with minerals. Special attention should be paid to growing rich harvests of potatoes, vegetables and melons and gathering them without losses. At the same time, to organize the care for rice crops in the fields of the region in strict accordance with the norms of agricultural technology.

The khyakim of Lebap velayat Sh.Amangeldiev continued the online working meeting with the report on the progress of seasonal field work, steps taken to accelerate the pace of wheat harvest, as well as care for cotton crops.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the need to ensure high-quality construction of socio-cultural and industrial facilities, giving specific instructions to the khyakim.

Then khyakim of Mary velayat D.Annaberdiev reported on the progress of seasonal work in the fields of the region, the measures taken to complete mowing-time in the shortest possible time, proper storage and processing of the harvested crop. Plowing is already underway on the lands released after the harvest.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the organized holding of mowing-time and due payments for the harvest handed over by tenants are the most important requirement of today.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A.Yazmyradov reported on agro-technical measures carried out in the country’s fields. Due payments are made with tenants for grain delivered, in the regions, along with mowing-time, cotton crops are cared for, uninterrupted operation of agricultural machinery and aggregates is organized at full capacity.

In the rice fields of Dashoguz and Lebap velayats, the care for crops continues in accordance with the norms of agricultural technology.

In Balkan and Mary velayats, sugar beet is being sown at a high rate.

The Deputy Prime Minister reported that, on behalf of the head of state, work is being carried out to improve the land reclamation condition and rational use of water resources.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the importance of high-quality and mowing-time completion at the earliest possible date, timely handling accounts with cereal farmers for grain delivered.

The participants of the working meeting via the digital system cordially congratulated Arkadagly Serdar on the Day of Workers of Culture and Art, as well as poetry of Makhtumkuli Fragi, wishing him sound health, longevity and great success in state activity.
