The election campaign continues in our country, within the framework of which candidates for the highest state office hold meetings with voters. In accordance with the Electoral Code of Turkmenistan, all of them are given equal rights and opportunities for freedom of campaigning, including in the media. The broad alternative basis of the current campaign, which is taking place in an atmosphere of openness and transparency, in accordance with generally accepted international norms, with broad participation of the public, representatives of the labor collectives of enterprises and organizations, honorary elders and youth, clearly demonstrates the commitment of an independent neutral Fatherland to truly democratic principles of development.

Today, in the Mekan Palace of the Ashgabat city administration, a meeting of voters with the director of the financial and economic secondary vocational school of the Lebap velayat Perkhat Begenjov, who is running for the post of President of the country from an initiative group of citizens of the eastern region, was held.

Having opened the meeting, the head of the organizational department of the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Makhtumkuli G. Mukhammedov gave the floor to the candidate’s confidant, the director of the secondary school No. 28 of the city of Turkmenabat, Lebap velayat, Ya. organizational and professional qualities of the leader, as well as extensive teaching experience.

Then the candidate P. Begenjov himself spoke, who acquainted the audience with his election program and the key tasks outlined in it, aimed at the further development and prosperity of independent neutral Turkmenistan.

As emphasized, if he is elected, the large-scale activities initiated by the leader of the nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to strengthen the economic potential of the Motherland, strengthen its positions in the international arena, and increase the welfare of the Turkmen people will continue. P. Begendzhov noted: In accordance with the outlined course, the high spiritual, moral and humanistic values of the Turkmen people will continue to actively pursue a peacekeeping foreign policy that contributes to the consolidation of the efforts of the international community in the name of peace, universal security and prosperity.

Answering voters' questions, the candidate gave explanations on the prospects for further development of the basic segments of the country's economy, primarily oil and gas, energy, chemical and light industries, agriculture, the accelerated growth rates of which directly serve to improve the welfare of the Turkmen people. The program “Revival of a new era of a powerful state: the National program for the socio-economic development of Turkmenistan in 2022-2052”, adopted at the historic meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, will serve as a reference point in this.

In the afternoon, a meeting was also held here with the electorate of the contender for the highest state post - director of the Research and Production Center "Renewable Energy Sources" of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan Kakageldi Sariyev, whose candidacy was nominated by an initiative group of citizens of the Mary velayat.

Having opened the meeting, the specialist of the Cultural and Business Center of the State Concern "Turkmengaz" J.Annashov gave the floor to the candidate's confidant - the acting head of the Department of Economics of the Energy Industry of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan D.Agajanov, who described K.Sariyev as an enterprising, competent leader who uses prestige among the group.

Expressing gratitude to the audience for their interest in his election platform, the contender for the post of President of the country proudly noted that Turkmenistan has achieved outstanding success in politics, economy, science, education, culture over the thirty years of independence and has entered a new stage of its development - the revival of a new era powerful state.
