Working trip of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to Dashoguz Velayat

Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to Dashoguz velayat, where he got acquainted with the solution of issues related to the effective use of existing opportunities for the implementation of regional development programs, as well as the supply of electricity produced in our country to both domestic consumers and for export.

In the morning, the head of state arrived at the capital's International Airport, from where he took off on an airliner in the direction of the northern region of the country.

Some time later, the plane of the President of Turkmenistan landed at the Dashoguz International Airport, where the leader of the nation was warmly and cordially welcomed by the heads of the region.

From the air harbor, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov went to the construction site of the 500-kilovolt line Balkan-Dashoguz, located in the etrap named after Gurbansoltan eje, Dashoguz velayat.

The path of the head of state ran through a beautiful corner of nature - the Karakum desert. At this time of the year, the expanses of the northern region are covered with white snow, which has a beneficial effect on the enrichment of the flora of these corners, and especially pastures.

On cool winter days, the Karakum desert seems even more beautiful. At this time, a beautiful panorama opens up in the wide expanses, and the amazing attractiveness of these places is felt.

The car of the President of the country stopped at the construction site of the Balkan-Dashoguz overhead power transmission line.

At the construction site, the leader of the nation was provided with detailed information about the development of the country's energy system, work carried out in its structures and newly created capacities, drawings of their location.

The head of the Turkmenenergotaslama Institute, V. Rakhmanov, reported on the preliminary designs of the power transmission line with a capacity of 500 kilovolts and a length of 560 kilometers on the Balkan-Dashoguz line in order to create a circular energy system in the country.

The head of the concern “Turkmenenergogurlushyk” N. Ataev said that the specialists have accumulated rich experience in the construction of power transmission lines and transformer substations of various capacities. Draft designs were presented, including 500-kilovolt transmission lines and substations, a 2-circuit power transmission line Ahal-Balkan with a capacity of 220 kilovolts and length of 421 kilometers, a 2-circuit Ahal-Mary power transmission line with a capacity of 220 kilovolts, a length of 380 kilometers, as well as a Power line Dashoguz-Dashoguz with a capacity of 220 kilovolts and a length of 25 kilometers, the Dashoguz state power plant, as well as a power line in the direction of the Serdar, Kaakhka and Tejen power plants.

Minister of Energy H. Rejepmyradov reported on the transfer of the Ahal state power plant to combined management, presenting relevant projects. As noted, a steam turbine generator building, 4 steam boilers, 2 transformers and other auxiliary facilities are provided for in the plans. In this regard, necessary measures are being taken to coordinate the activities of the Dashoguz and Lebap state power plants.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Ch. Purchekov presented the projects to the head of state and reported on the state of the ongoing work. In particular, they discussed the route of the power transmission line Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan, the section from the Mary State Power Plant to the Vatan SPP, as well as the planned laying of a line from the Afghan city of Mazar-i-Sharif to Kabul.

In addition, the projects of power transmission lines from the Mary power station in the direction of Herat-Farah-Kandahar and through Afghanistan to Pakistan were presented to the President. The Deputy Prime Minister has also reported on plans for the construction of a 500 kilovolt power transmission line Mary-Mashhad, a 400 kilovolt power transmission line Mary-Serakhs with a length of 140 kilometers and a 15-kilometer Serakhs-Mashhad line.

Then President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held working meeting here with the participation of the heads of sectoral energy departments and specialists of the velayat structures of the Ministry of Energy.

And today, the head of state said, I have come here to discuss the pressing issues facing us, including the effective use of all opportunities for the development of regions, as well as to get acquainted with the process of supplying electricity to both domestic consumers and abroad.

Currently, Turkmen electricity is supplied to our neighbors - Islamic Republics of Iran and Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, as well as Kyrgyz Republic. In addition, there is a great opportunity to supply it to third countries through Uzbekistan and Iran, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov continued.

The energy produced by the Dashoguz State Power Plant with a capacity of more than 254 megawatts is sent to other countries apart from the domestic consumers.

The President of the country focused on the fact that with the implementation of the Ahal-Balkan-Dashoguz high-voltage overhead power line project, another reliable source of energy will be created, which will give a powerful incentive to the social and economic development of the Dashoguz velayat.

During the working meeting, the head of state listened to the reports of the specialists participating in the project.

Completion of the full construction of high-voltage power transmission systems and substations in the Ahal-Balkan-Dashoguz and Ahal-Mary directions will ensure the reliable functioning of the energy system. The Ahal-Balkan direction, which is the first stage of this project, was opened and put into operation in 2021.

Then, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Ch. Purchekov reported on the comprehensive work on the implementation of the program developed at the initiative of the leader of the nation to create a unified energy system in the country. The Deputy Prime Minister also expressed gratitude to the President of the country for constant attention to the development of the energy industry at the modern level, and for creation of wide opportunities at production facilities.

Further, Hyakim of the Dashoguz velayat N. Nazarmyradov informed about work carried out in the region and on behalf of all residents of the velayat thanked the President of the country for valuable advice on various issues of building the Balkan-Dashoguz section of the circular energy system.

At the end of the working meeting, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished the participants good health, long life and great success for the sake of prosperity of their Motherland.

Then the head of state arrived at the poultry complex of the “Işewür topar” economic society, located on the territory of Gyorogly etrap.

Here the leader of the nation was met by the head and specialists of the “Işewür topar” economic society.

The head of the “Işewür topar” economic society, O. Sopiev, informed the President of the country about the state of work carried out here, the well-coordinated actions of the friendly team led by him, making a worthy contribution to ensuring the country's food abundance.

As noted, this farm annually produces 300 tons of poultry meat.

The head of state inquired about the work, family life of the entrepreneur, and also asked him about the types of birds kept here.

A member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs O. Sopiev noted that he was very pleased with the opportunity to present the quails kept here to the leader of the nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the first time.

The head of state inquired about the ways of keeping young animals, their meat precocity, as well as the preparation of fodder for birds.

As reported, 210,000 chickens are bred here in six stages per year, that is, 35,000 at each stage. The maturation period of chicken for meat production is 45 days. In turkeys, this period is 120 days, in muskovy ducks - 150 days. At this age, the weight of females reaches 8-10 kilograms, males - 14 kilograms.

The President of the country also asked about the process of packing poultry meat, commercial attractiveness of the packaging and branding of the products.

The entrepreneur said that the prepared meat is sold in attractive packaging under the brand name “Mahmal”, which indicates the delicate texture of chicken meat produced in environmentally friendly conditions and posessing useful properties.

The economic society was also allocated a land plot of 50 hectares, where entrepreneurs grow fodder crops: corn is cultivated on 20 hectares, sorghum (or jugara) on 15 hectares, barley on 5 hectares, and clover on the remaining 10 hectares. In addition, the enterprise complex has a workshop, the capacity of which allows processing 800 chickens per hour.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also noted that poultry farmers are doing a great job, making a worthy contribution to ensuring the abundance of goods demanded by the population. The state pays great attention to the development of the private sector, promotes the expansion of production lines. We will continue to create all necessary conditions for the efficient work of entrepreneurs and the production of new goods by them, the head of state said, advising the members of the “Işewür topar” economic society to progressively expand production.

Noting that the leader of the nation had done them a high honor with his visit, the entrepreneurs expressed their gratitude to the President of the country by performing a destan.

Wishing the entrepreneurs further success in their noble cause, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov headed to the International Airport of Dashoguz, from where he departed to the capital.
