A two-day international scientific-practical conference "Issues of introducing innovative technologies into production", organized by the Academy of Sciences and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan is held in a hybrid format in the Turkmen capital.
The forum is aimed at emphasizing the significance of the achievements of the domestic scientific and educational sphere in the progressive innovative development of our sovereign state.
The opening of the conference was held at Oguz Khan Engineering and Technological University, where an exhibition of joint scientific works of students and teachers of the university was also organized. Participants of the conference from different countries of the world could get acquainted with the exposition online.
The international forum brought together the leaders of the domestic scientific and educational sphere, scientists, specialists in various fields, teachers and university students. Heads and representatives of large scientific centers and universities, research organizations from twenty countries of the world took part in the conference online.
The heads of the Academy of Sciences and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, Oguz Khan Engineering and Technological University, as well as prominent scientists from Russia, China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Italy, Azerbaijan, Ethiopia, Poland, Palestine presented their reports at the plenary session.
The speakers noted that over the years of independence, Turkmenistan had significantly advanced in the development of science and technology. Fundamental research is carried out in higher educational institutions, scientific-technological, scientific-clinical and scientific-design centers, experimental-production laboratories.
Those speaking during the forum paid particular attention to the application of scientific discoveries made by scientists of the Academy of Sciences, teachers and students of educational institutions. As noted, it is planned to conduct research studies at economically profitable industrial production facilities operating on local raw materials, competitive in the world market.
In this regard, the importance of studying foreign experience, enhancing international scientific exchange was emphasized.
