The award ceremony of the winners of International contest «Ýylyň iň owadan ahalteke bedewi» and contest among representatives of creative professions has been held in Ahalteke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan.

The goal of International ahalteke horse beauty contest, which is held annually in the country, is to stimulate the development of horse breeding traditions and to attract attention of the world community to this breed.

Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of the People’s Council and Mejlis of National Assembly, military and law enforcement agencies, heads of the regions and Ashgabat, ministries and profile departments, public organizations and mass media have gathered at the square in front of Ahalteke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan. Famous horse breeders have also participated in the events.

The best ahalteke horses have been gifted to the President of Turkmenistan on behalf of the horse breeders of the country as a sign of gratitude for active attention to their work as well as in honor of National Turkmen Horse Holiday. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Chairman of the Supreme Control Chamber, President of International Ahalteke Equestrian Association and International Association Serdar Berdimuhamedov was requested to take excellent horses.

The horses from each regions of the country were taken out one after another. Heads of all regions, elders and representatives of younger generation have also come out.

Thus, a beautiful horse Oguzkent was gifted on behalf of the workers of Ahal Region, Deniz from Balkan Region, Gyrbedew from Dashoguz Region, Köýtendag from Lebap Region, Murgap from Mary Region and Akşäher from Ashgabat.

Another horse Beýikdag was presented on behalf of the military and law enforcement agencies. Excellent sorrel Hankerwen, which was born in 2018, the offspring of Hanbegler and Okgyz was presented to Turkmen leader from the horse breeders of the country.

Vice-premier, Chairman of the Supreme Control Chamber, President of International Ahalteke Equestrian Association and International Association «Türkmen alabaý itleri» Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed gratitude to the elders of the regions who participated in the events, all horse producers who presented excellent ahalteke horses to the President of Turkmenistan.

Following the tradition set by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, S.Berdimuhamedov has tied up traditional charm weaved by his grandmother Ogulabat-ene around the neck of Hankerwen, which was presented to the head of the state from the horse breeders of the country.

Further, riding the horse along racing track, Vice-premier, Head of the Supreme Control Chamber, President of International Ahalteke Equestrian Association and International Association «Türkmen alabaý itleri» Serdar Berdimuhamedov tries the horse in various paces.

Further, the presenter has announced about the beginning of the final round of International ahalteke horse beauty contest. Ten horses selected at previous rounds were taken out to the exposition ground.

Each of the horses were walked in front of the judges two times. First, without harness and second time, in full set of horse decoration wearing carpet blanket and under saddle.

According to the rules of the contest, all horses were presented to the jury and spectators giving their names, age, generation line and owner. Horses, which pedigree goes to famous breed lines, have been qualified for the final.

Numerous fans of ahalteke horses were able to enjoy and assess an outstanding exterior of the ancestors of the famous horses, which put the main lines in selection of this breed.

The exterior of the horses and training, which hold their hot temper, conquering with fine lines and ideal proportions, have been demonstrated. Undoubtedly, thoroughbred horse is a true treasure, a masterpiece made by the efforts of the best horse breeders.

Further, the names of the winners of the creative contest for the best image of Turkmen horse in visual, decorative and applied arts, printing production, photos, on TV channels announced among the artists, sculptors, carpet makers, photographers, publishing personnel, designers, TV operators have been announced. The main idea of the contest was to demonstrate the role of this beautiful and intelligent creature in life of Turkmen people.

The best works presented at the contest were selected according the categories like the best carpet, the best jewelry, the best picture and picture and sculpture of the horse, as well as printing production, photo and TV plot.

On behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Tolkun TV sets and relative certificates were awarded to the following winners: production and quality specialist of Ashagabat Art Carpet Facility G.Orazova for the best carpet picturing Turkmen horse «Behişdi bedew»; teacher of drawing and painting of specialized secondary school no. 42 of Ashgabat E.Annaberdiyeva for horse decoration «Garlawaç – At şaý-sep toplumy»; fifth grade student of the Painting Department of the State Art Academy of Turkmenistan Sh.Orazliyev for the best picture «Türkmen toýy».

The prizes from the head of the state have also been awarded to the teacher of the Sculpture Department of the State Art Academy of Turkmenistan M.Hojainov for the sculpture composition «Türkmenistan – parahatçylygyň we ynanyşmagyň Watany»; photographer of the State News Agency of Turkmenistan M.Roziyev for the best printing production – the photos of Turkmen horse «Türkmeniň uçar ganaty», TV operator of the «Watan habarlary» department of «Altyn asyr: Türkmenistan» TV and radio channel of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography B.Ramazaov for the best television footages «Türkmen bedewi».

The winner of the contest expressed gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for high appreciation of their creativity.

Further, the decision of the competent jury committee of International contest «Ýylyň iň owadan ahalteke bedewi» has been announced.

Bay Aýgytly from Ahalteke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan has been announced as the best horse of 2021. Excellent horse, which was born in 2015, is an offspring of Ary and Altynbaş.

Chary Balliyev, who brought up a winner of international contest, received the main prize of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov – Lexus vehicle, challenge cup and diploma.

Performance of the art masters were the final part of the event.
