Turkmenistan actively prepares to the celebration of New Year 2018. The concerts and other creative events will take place on the central squares and in the cultural centres of the capital and velayats in the days remained until New Year. The programme includes the performance of the circus from Russian Federation from December 17 to January 14 in the State Circus. Numerous new year celebration with participation of children bands, theatre artists and popular singers start on December 15 after the lighting ceremony of the main New Year trees in the regions and Ashgabat - at Älem Cultural and Entertainment Centre. The final of the young talented singers contest and gala concert of the prize winners will take place. Magtumguly National Music and Drama Theatre will hold joint concert of Turkmen and American performers. New Year celebration events are planned to be held during winter school holidays in children recreation centres of Gyokdere and velayats.
