Today, the Chamber of commerce and industry held the grand opening of the international exhibition and scientific conference «Healthcare, Education, and Sports in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state», timed to coincide with Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers Day, widely celebrated in our country.
This annual forum has earned a reputation as one of the largest and most prestigious, facilitating the demonstration and implementation of modern medical science achievements in healthcare and the further strengthening of cooperation with international partners.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition, jointly organized by the Ministry of health and medical industry, the Ministry of education, the State committee for physical culture and sports, and the Chamber of commerce and industry, was attended by the Chairman of the Mejlis, members of the Government, heads of diplomatic missions and international organisations accredited in Turkmenistan, heads and representatives of ministries, industry departments, medical research and clinical centres, the Academy of Sciences, public organisations and educational institutions, as well as numerous medical workers from across the country.
The opening ceremony of the international exhibition was accompanied by performances by creative groups, who enthusiastically performed dance compositions and songs dedicated to their beloved Fatherland.
The audience listened with great enthusiasm to address of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the forum participants.
Exhibition guests viewed video presentations demonstrating the extensive work being done to develop healthcare system of the country through the implementation of the «Saglyk» («Health») State Program, as well as achievements in education, science, and sports.
The successes achieved in these areas are inextricably linked to the far-sighted initiatives and consistent efforts of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Hero-Arkadag and the President of Turkmenistan. In our independent state, the health of the people is equal to the wealth of the country. In this regard, great importance is attached to the implementation of healthy lifestyle principles and disease prevention. Large-scale work is being carried out to raise physically strong and spiritually rich generations devoted to an independent, neutral Fatherland.
