An important event of international importance – Conference of Ministers of Transport of Landlocked Developing Countries – was held on August 15-16 this year in the Avaza National Tourist Zone. The Ashgabat Process: Financing for Better Connectivity Forum was organized by the Government of Turkmenistan under the auspices of the United Nations.

The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent deep condolences to the President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan in connection with the loss of life and injuries as a result of the explosion in the Surmalu shopping center in the city Yerevan.
