Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via the digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A.Yazmyradov, who oversees the agro-industrial complex, and khyakims of velayats, to consider issues related to the course of seasonal agricultural work in the country.

The first floor was given to the khyakim of Akhal velayat Ya.Gurbanov, who reported on the situation in the region’s fields, as well as on the measures taken within the framework of the implementation of programs for the socio-economic development of the Homeland.

As it was noted, the care of wheat crops is carried out in accordance with the norms of agricultural technology, plowing and planning of the lands allocated for cotton are continuing, appropriate work is being carried out to provide cotton growers with high-quality seeds.

Repair and adjustment of machinery and equipment that will be used during the sowing season is also underway, preparations for sowing early potatoes and other fruit and vegetable crops are enduring.

In addition, the khyakim reported on the efforts being made to ensure the proper functioning of heating systems, uninterrupted supply of water, electricity, natural gas, as well as the pace of work on construction sites of social and industrial facilities.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that seasonal agricultural campaigns conducted in accordance with the requirements of agricultural technology are the key to a rich harvest, and gave a number of instructions to the khyakim.

Having focused attention on the issues of care of wheat crops according to agrotechnical standards, the country’s President ordered to strictly control this work.

The head of state also assigned to keep in mind the construction of facilities that are being built in the velayat within the framework of the Program of Socio-Economic Development of the regions.

Then the khyakim of Balkan velayat, T.Atakhallyev, reported on the pace of seasonal field campaigns in the western region of the country, in particular, on the care of wheat crops.

As it was noted, these works are carried out in strict accordance with the norms of agricultural technology, plowing and land planning is carried out on the areas allocated for cotton sowing. The agricultural machinery and equipment that will be used in the spring sowing campaign are being put in order.

Harvesting of the grown sugar beet crop, preparation for planting of early potatoes and other fruit and vegetable crops continue in the velayat. At the same time, appropriate work is being carried out to provide cotton growers with high-quality seeds.

In addition, khyakim reported on the measures taken to ensure the proper functioning of heating systems in residential buildings and other social facilities, uninterrupted supply of electricity, water and natural gas, as well as to fulfill the tasks outlined in the socio-economic development programs of the country.

After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan stressed the importance of the agricultural activities currently being carried out and instructed the khyakim to keep under control the care of wheat crops in accordance with the requirements of agricultural technology.

The head of state said that the plowing and planning of the lands allocated for cotton sowing should be carried out in a timely manner and with high quality, and the grown sugar beet crop should be fully harvested, and gave a number of commissions to the khyakim.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that social and industrial facilities, the construction of which is planned within the framework of the National Program for the transformation of social and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, cities of etraps and etrap centers, should be commissioned on schedule and with high quality. In connection with the increase in the pace of construction work, the head of state gave specific instructions to the head of the region.

Efforts are being made to repair and adjust equipment and implements that will be used during the sowing season, preparations for sowing early potatoes and other fruit and vegetable crops are continuing.

It was reported that appropriate measures are being taken to ensure the proper functioning of heating systems in residential buildings and public organizations, schools and kindergartens, uninterrupted supply of electricity, water and natural gas. Measures are being taken to ensure timely and high-quality execution of the works planned within the framework of the Program of Socio-Economic Development of the country’s regions.

After hearing the report, the head of state noted the importance of further development of the agricultural sector in accordance with the requirements of today. It is necessary to carry out high-quality plowing and planning of the lands allocated for cotton, and to provide farmers with high-quality seeds of this crop. In this regard, a number of specific instructions were addressed to khyakim.

The President of the country emphasized the need to take care of wheat crops in strict accordance with the norms of agricultural technology and control over these works. At the same time, the head of the region was instructed to keep in view the preparation for sowing early potatoes and other vegetable crops.

In addition, the head of state ordered to control the pace of construction of social and industrial facilities planned within the framework of the Socio-Economic Development Program of the country and the National Program for the Transformation of the social and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, cities of etraps and etrap centers.

Then the khyakim of Lebap velayat Sh.Amangeldiev reported on the progress of seasonal field work, as well as on the implementation of the tasks outlined in the Program of Socio-Economic Development of the country’s regions.

After hearing the report, the head of state focused on the importance of ongoing agricultural work, stressing that plowing and planning of land for cotton should be carried out at a high-quality level, and farmers are fully provided with high-quality seeds.

It is important to prepare well for the sowing of early potatoes and other vegetable crops, the head of Turkmenistan noted, addressing a number of instructions to the khyakim.

The President of the country highlighted that the care of wheat crops in accordance with the norms of agricultural technology is a requirement of today, and gave specific instructions to the head of the regional administration.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to strictly comply with the requirements of agricultural machinery for the care of wheat crops, as well as to increase the pace of sugar beet harvesting. In addition, the preparation of sowing potatoes and other fruit and vegetable crops should be approached responsibly, the head of state said, giving appropriate instructions.

In order to obtain rich cotton harvests, steps are being taken to prepare the land for sowing.

Along with this, repair of equipment and inventory is carried out, in general, comprehensive preparation for the spring season. The necessary measures are being taken to provide cotton growers with high-quality seeds, as well as to determine the acreage of this year for planting potatoes and other fruit and vegetable crops in the velayats of the country.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the significant role of the agricultural sector in the national economy, underlining that an important requirement today is to carry out current agricultural work in accordance with the norms of agricultural technology, especially the care of wheat fields.
