Names of the winners of the art ahalteke horse image contest in works of visual, decorative and applied arts, publishing, TV and photo production have been announced under the celebration events held in Ashgabat Ahalteke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan.

Today, celebration events took place in the Presidential Ahalteke Equestrian Complex with participation of the Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in honour of National Turkmen Horse Holiday.

On the occasion of the holy month of Oraza, the high-ranking officials from foreign states addressed congratulatory messages to the President of Turkmenistan.

Having noted that International Ahalteke Equestrian Association has 10th anniversary this year, the Head of the State warmly congratulated the participants on this remarkable date as well as on National Turkmen Horse Holiday, having wished success in development of equestrian sphere to every one.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave fast breaking food donation in the capital’s mosque located in Mir 7 residential estate on the first day of Ramadan.

On his way to the building of the cabinet of Minsiters, the place of extended session of the Government and anniversary session of International Ahalteke Association, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected works for renovation of sculptural composition dedicated to ahalteke horses, which is located in the centre of the capital, at request of Vice-premier Sh. Durdiliyev and Hyakim of Ashgabat Ya. Gylyjov.

On occasion of the Turkmen Horse Day, for Merit to the Fatherland and the people of Turkmenistan, for achievements in increasing the world glory of ‘heavenly’ horses, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree on conferring the state awards.

For the significant contribution to the development of horse breeding, for achievements in preserving the breeding and productive qualities of the Ahalteke horses, professional skills, as well as in honor of the Turkmen Horse Day, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree, authorizing to award the honourary title ""Türkmenistanyň at gazanan atşynasy” («Honoured Horse-Breeder of Turkmenistan”) to:

The Public Organizations Center has hosted a grand ceremony to present foremost professionals of the horse breeding industry with state awards: the Garaşsyz Türkmenistana Bolan Beýik Söýgüsi Üçin Order, the Gaýrat Medal, the Watana Bolan Söýgüsi Üçin Medal, as well as badges of honorary titles of Türkmenistanyň At Gazanan Atşynasy and Türkmenistanyň Halk Atşynasy in honor of National Turkmen Horse Day.
