The 73rd session the Assembly of the World Health Organization was the main subjects of the meeting held in video conference format with participation of representatives of the Ministry of Health Protection and Medical Industry and Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan at the United Nations Organization in Genève (Switzerland). COVID-19 pandemic on the planet and counteractive measures were the main points of the agenda of annual international forum in online format. The fact that Turkmenistan Infectious Disease Preventive, Readiness and Response Plan, which is aimed at prevention of entering of dangerous infections to the country, has been developed and recently adopted in the country was noted as a positive example. Having highlighted the importance of wide international cooperation, which development is one of the main directions of realization of the above-mentioned Plan, the participants of online meeting noted the necessity of close cooperation with partners for combating dangerous infections, in particular the coronavirus.
