Vice-premier, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov had video conference session with Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Hanif Atmar. Different aspects of cooperation in the context of telephone conversation between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani have been discussed during the session.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made working trip around the capital, during which he inspected projects of recreation facilities in the area of Gurtly Lake located in the northern part of Ashgabat. Opening of modern recreation zone is planned in this place.

At the request of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Sh. Durdiliyev, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected works for modernization of social and economic infrastructure of the capital, implementation of the projects aimed at its further integrated development as well as situation at construction sites in the southern part of Ashgabat.

Development of Draft Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Energy and Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Energy of Russian Federation on cooperation in energy sphere was the main subject of online meeting held in the Ministry of Energy of the country.

Video conference format consultations, which were organized together with the OSCE Centre in Ashgabat, were dedicated the main aspects of development of national reports, which are presented annually under Eurasian Anti-Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism Group (EAG).
