A meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan started in Ashgabat. The videoconference meeting is chaired by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The agenda of the national forum includes priority issues of state life, the main of which is the Constitutional Law “On Amendments and Additions to the Constitution of Turkmenistan”. Members of the Government, Chairperson and deputies of the Mejlis, heads of ministries and sectoral departments, political parties and public associations, hyakims of velayats, etraps and cities, as well as members of Halk Maslahaty, numerous specialists of enterprises and institutions, the honorary elders, respected mothers and other the youth take part in the meeting. The delegates from the Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary velayats gathered in the Ruhyet Palaces in velayats, the Ahal velayat delegates - in the “Ak öý” building, and representatives of the city of Ashgabat - in the Mekan Palace in Ashgabat.
