The last month of the past year was full of international events. The meetings, negotiations, forums held in December in bilateral and multilateral formats serve as a clear confirmation that independent Turkmenistan, following the policy of “open doors” pursued by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, is playing an increasingly active role in addressing topical issues of regional and global development.
Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an online working meeting with participation of the minister of agriculture and environmental protection and khyakims of velayats to consider the course of seasonal agricultural activities in regions.
Today, the regular meeting of the Central Commission for holding elections and referendums in Turkmenistan devoted to issues of upcoming elections of deputies of the Mejlis of the seventh convocation, members of the Khalk Maslakhaty in velayats, etraps and cities of the fifth convocation, members of gengeshes of the ninth convocation, was held. Members of the Central elections commission, representatives of working groups, created at the Central elections commission, responsible workers of political parties and pubic organizations and mass media took part in the meeting.
Today, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh, Honored Elder of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, at the request of the head of State Committee for the Construction of the Center of the Akhal Velayat D. Orazov and Arkadag City Khyakim Sh. Durdylyev, made a working trip to the city of Arkadag to get familiarized with the projects of the main mosque to be constructed in the administrative center of the region.
Appoint Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Belgium (city of Brussels) Palvanov Sapar Begjanovich concurrently the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
Each new day in independent neutral Turkmenistan in the year of “Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar” is marked by significant events, great successes in the development of the Motherland, and increasing its authority in the international arena. All political, economic and cultural reforms carried out in the country, including the modernization of the Constitution of the country and the national legal system, are aimed at strengthening the foundations of civil society and the rule of law, the further prosperity of Turkmenistan, and the steady growth of the level and quality of life of the population.
In order to further improve the ongoing work on the implementation of the “Concept for development of the digital economy in Turkmenistan in 2019-2025” in the period of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree, authorizing the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers to conclude a contract with “Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd.” (People’s Republic of China) for the purchase of equipment, software and licenses, as well as transportation, installation, commissioning and technical support thereof in the context of expanding the fixed telephone network in the velayats and the city of Ashgabat.
