The Week of Culture 2023 was solemnly opened in Ashgabat. The large-scale event is accompanied by various cultural events.
One of the spectacular events of the first day was a festive concert of the masters of Arts of Ashgabat and Ahal velayat, held at the site of the Cultural and Business Center of the State Concern "Türkmengaz".
Creative teams presented to the public the best performances, based on folk rituals and traditions.
The original Turkmen folklore has absorbed the experience, values and wisdom of the ancestors, becoming a kind of national treasury. Since ancient times, Bakhshi musicians, who sing destans to the tune of dutar, have enjoyed special honor and respect in the Turkmen land. Musical and poetic tales: legends and stories are performed in an original manner of singing
Dance groups, famous singers and artists of our country demonstrated their skills along with the Bakhshi musicians.
The opening of the Week of Culture-2023 marked the beginning of a number of festive concerts.
Today, solemn events were also held in regional cultural centers of Ak bugday etrap of the Ahal velayat, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary velayats. National dances were performed in the buildings of "Türkmeniń ak öýi", beautiful songs were sung praising independent and neutral Turkmenistan.
