The State Museum of Turkmenistan has hosted an event devoted to the popularization of the nation’s rich historical and cultural heritage in the world. Among those taking part in the discussions were officials of ministries and agencies of Turkmenistan, honored cultural figures and artists, eminent scientists, art experts, media representatives and students, who became acquainted with the book specially prepared by German and Turkmen specialists for the exhibition entitled “Margiana – the Bronze Age Kingdom in Turkmenistan”, taking place in Germany.

The Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Centre hosted the final round of TV young performers contest «Ýaňlan, Diýarym!».

Representative of Turkmenistan was awarded with silver prize of XI International festival of circus art “Echo of Asia” held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, on July 4 – 8.

First issue of quarterly scientific and popular magazine of National Institute of Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences opens the series of publication on historical and cultural heritage of our people.

The Main Drama Theatre hosted the closing ceremony of theatre festival “the Silk Road of Cordiality”. Representatives of the Ministry of Culture, theatre directors and artists from the capital and velayats took part in the event.

Opening of theatre festival “The Silk Road of Cordiality” was held in the Main Drama Theatre of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat.

The programme of cultural events includes artistic performances timed to the opening of the Aqua Park with resort and Avaza sanatorium on Caspian Sea and to the opening of other social and industrial facilities.

Turkmenistan marks the Day of Cultural and Art Personnel and the Day of Magtumguly Fragi Poetry. The Week of Culture 2018, which was finished by the gala concert under the dome of Nowruz ýaýlasynyň ak öýi in Ahal Valley, was timed to these events.

The fifth day of the Culture Week was marked with a concert “Küşt Depip, Gazal Aýdyp” given by folk and dance ensembles from across the country in the Culture House in Anau, Akhal velayat. The main aim of the event is to popularize the traditional art of singing and dancing, Kushtdepdi, inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
