President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov congratulated the young generation of Turkmen citizens and all compatriots on the International Children's Day.

According to the President of Turkmenistan, our sovereign neutral Motherland, being committed to the fundamental principles of the United Nations in the field of the rights and interests of children, aims to educate the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism and humanism, to provide them with modern education.

International Children's Day has a special meaning as a date symbolizing the triumph of the ideals of peace, humanity and friendship. On the occasion of this holiday, bright events are held in modern children's health centers located in our capital, cities and villages of the regions, in the picturesque Geokdere settlement and the famous Avaza National Tourist Zone.

“Kindergartens and schools that meet international standards are opened in our country, where comprehensive measures are taken to support a family, protect the health of mothers and children, educate the younger generation. Children's health and entertainment centers, where all conditions are created for the harmonious development of our happy children, so that their childhood years are filled with fun, joy and bright events, are erected in unique corners of our country.

“Guided by the wise sayings of our ancestors, we pay special attention to supporting a family and motherhood, stimulating large families. In the modern epoch, we adopt laws to protect the rights and interests of mothers and children, they are provided with a wide range of social benefits. All this made it possible to ensure normal development of our children from the earliest period of life.

“Turkmenistan is a state that consistently and successfully implements the Sustainable Development Goals proclaimed by the United Nations. We pay particular importance to the consolidation of efforts and effective cooperation with the world community, in particular, within the framework of the UN and other international organizations for the protection of children's health, their upbringing and training on the moral democratic principles of mankind, and the protection of the rights and interests of women and children. In this context, our independent state has joined a number of fundamental international legal acts. All this testifies to the responsible attitude of Turkmenistan to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals proclaimed by the United Nations Organization and the solution of the tasks of ensuring universal well-being,” the President of Turkmenistan emphasizes in his congratulatory Address.
