Results of the development of the industrial sector of Turkmenistan economy for the first half of 2017 are announced.

Just over 1 million tons of wheat was harvested in Turkmenistan this year. Deputy Prime Minister for Agriculture E.Orazgeldiev informed about it at the expanded government meeting on the results of 6 months of 2017. At the same time, the plan for provision of grain for 2017 was 1 million 600 thousand tons of wheat.

Transport and communication complex of Turkmenistan demonstrates good growth for six months of 2017. This was noted at the expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the country.

In accordance with President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov's decrees, Ashyr Myradovich Garayev was appointed Chairman of the National Space Agency under the President of Turkmenistan; Gochmyrat Ashyrmuhammedovich Myradov- Minister of Finance of Turkmenistan; Allaberdy Ashirov - Rector of the Institute of Public Utilities of Turkmenistan.
