Results of the development of the industrial sector of Turkmenistan economy for the first half of 2017 are announced. For the period under review the plan for the total volume of manufactured products was fulfilled by 112.6 percent by the Ministry of Industry and for 111.8 percent by the Ministry of Textile Industry, about which was reported at the extended meeting of the government. According to the enterprises of the State Concern ""Turkmenhimiya"", the fulfillment of the plan amounted to 105.2 percent, including 122.4 percent for the production of technical iodine.
