In order to strengthen the state system of guaranteeing, ensuring and protecting human rights and freedoms in Turkmenistan in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, as well as to intensify cooperation with the United Nations and other international organizations, and to carry out activities to fulfil international obligations of Turkmenistan in the field of human rights on a systematic basis, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution. In accordance with the document, the National action plan on human rights in Turkmenistan for 2026–2030 was approved.

Law enforcement agencies, ministries, industry departments of Turkmenistan, local executive authorities and local self-government bodies are instructed to ensure the implementation of the measures provided for in the above-mentioned Plan.
