The President of Turkmenistan signed a Decree approving the composition of the State Commission for Admissions to Higher and Secondary Vocational Educational Institutions of Turkmenistan for the 2026 academic year.

The State Commission has been instructed to provide organizational and methodological supervision of the admission process to the country's higher and secondary vocational educational institutions in 2026 and to ensure that it is conducted in accordance with the established procedure.

The hyakimliks of the velayats and the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag have been instructed to create the necessary conditions for the proper functioning of the working commissions responsible for admissions to higher and secondary vocational educational institutions.

The President of Turkmenistan signed a Decree approving the 2026 admission plan for higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan by velayats and the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, as well as the 2026 admission plan for secondary vocational educational institutions of Turkmenistan.

The higher and secondary vocational educational institutions of Turkmenistan have been instructed to organize the admission campaign during the period from July 13 to August 24, 2026, and to conduct entrance examinations at their respective locations.

With the aim of improving the qualifications of the members of the Halk Maslahaty, preparing state leaders and civil servants meeting international standards for central and local executive authorities, local self-government bodies, as well as master's degree holders in the era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Decree approving:

– the admission plan for trainees to the civil service retraining courses (duration of study – two academic years) at the Academy of State Service under the President of Turkmenistan for the 2026–2027 academic year;

– the admission plan for trainees to the advanced training courses for civil servants (duration of study – five months) at the Academy of State Service under the President of Turkmenistan for the 2026–2027 academic year;

– the admission plan for trainees to the advanced training courses in commercial arbitration for civil servants (duration of study – four months) at the Academy of State Service under the President of Turkmenistan for the 2026–2027 academic year;

– the admission plan for trainees to the advanced training courses for employees of local executive authorities, as well as members of the velayat, etrap, and city Halk Maslahats (duration of study – two months) at the Academy of State Service under the President of Turkmenistan for the 2026–2027 academic year;

– the admission plan for trainees to the advanced training courses for employees of local self-government bodies (duration of study – two months) at the Academy of State Service under the President of Turkmenistan for the 2026–2027 academic year;

– the admission plan for fee-paying students to the master's degree preparation courses (duration of study – from one academic year to two academic years) at the Academy of State Service under the President of Turkmenistan for the 2026–2027 academic year;

– the admission plan for fee-paying trainees to the advanced training courses for specialists (duration of study – up to two months) at the Academy of State Service under the President of Turkmenistan for the 2026–2027 academic year;

– the procedure for organizing the entrance examinations for the admission of trainees and students to the courses of the Academy of State Service under the President of Turkmenistan for the 2026–2027 academic year.
