In order to create the necessary conditions for a significant expansion of the equal participation of men and women in the socio-economic, socio-political, cultural and humanitarian activities in the country, as well as to confirm the commitment of Turkmenistan to ensuring gender equality in accordance with international treaties and to increase the possibility of practical implementation of gender equality in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution.

The document approved the National action plan for gender equality in Turkmenistan for 2026–2030.

Ministries, departments, local executive authorities and self-government bodies are instructed to ensure the implementation of the measures provided for in the above-mentioned National action plan.
