Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahalliyev and khyakims of the velayats to consider issues related to the progress of work in the agricultural complex and regions of the country.

The first to speak was the khyakim of the Ahal velayat T. Nurmyradov, who reported on the pace of agricultural campaigns in the region.

As reported, seasonal care of wheat is being carried out in the fields these days.

In order to prepare the areas for sowing cotton and obtaining a rich harvest, land leveling and planning are being carried out.

Along with this, measures are being taken at cotton ginning enterprises to prepare and properly store high-quality seeds of a valuable crop.

The velayat is taking the necessary steps to carry out the spring sowing of potatoes and vegetable and melon crops within the established time frame, in accordance with agricultural technology standards.

In addition, the khyakim reported on the progress of construction of social, cultural and industrial facilities scheduled for opening this year within the framework of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov drew attention to the importance of timely and high-quality implementation of agricultural activities in the fields, in particular, caring for wheat, preparing for sowing cotton, giving the khyakim relevant instructions in this regard.

The head of state also emphasized the need to successfully complete the tasks outlined in the country’s socio-economic development programs and instructed the khyakim to monitor ongoing work in this direction. Then, the khyakim of the Balkan velayat H.Ashyrmyradov reported on the ongoing agricultural campaigns in the region.

As reported, seasonal care of the fields sown with wheat is being carried out.

Along with this, measures are being taken to prepare areas for sowing cotton and high-quality seeds that correspond to the soil and climatic conditions of the region.

At the same time, the selection of potato seeds and other vegetable and melon crops for the sowing season, as well as measures to complete this campaign within the established time frame, are being carried out.

In addition, the khyakim reported on the state of affairs at the construction sites of facilities scheduled for commissioning this year in accordance with the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program.

After hearing the report, the head of state noted that the implementation of current agricultural work in accordance with agro-technical standards is an important requirement of the day and in this regard addressed specific instructions to the khyakim.

The President of the country also ordered to monitor the quality and timing of the work planned for the current year within the framework of the country’s socio-economic development programs.

Then, the khyakim of the Dashoguz velayat D. Babayev reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the region.

As reported, at present, in accordance with agro-technical standards, mineral fertilizers and irrigation are being applied to the fields sown with wheat.

Along with this, preparations are underway for sowing cotton, in particular, leveling and planning the land, flushing irrigation, as well as high-quality seeds adapted to the soil and climatic conditions of the region.

Based on the tasks set by the President of Turkmenistan to provide the population with potatoes and fruit and vegetable products produced in the country, the necessary measures are being taken to prepare areas and seeds of other fruit and vegetable crops for the sowing season.

The khyakim also reported on the progress of construction of social, cultural and industrial facilities in the velayat within the framework of the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country in 2022–2028 and the National Rural Program.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov drew attention to the importance of the ongoing seasonal agricultural work and in this regard instructed the khyakim to ensure the care of wheat and preparation for spring sowing in accordance with agricultural technology standards.

The head of state also ordered to keep under review the high-quality and timely implementation of events planned for this year in the velayat within the framework of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program.

Then the khyakim of the Lebap velayat M. Annanepesov reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the region.

It was reported that seasonal agricultural work is currently underway in accordance with the tasks set by the President of Turkmenistan for the comprehensive development of the industry.

As part of this work, mineral fertilizers are applied and irrigation is carried out on areas sown with wheat. In the areas allocated for sowing cotton, land leveling and planning, flushing irrigation, and preparation of high-quality seeds of this crop for producers are carried out.

Along with this, the necessary measures are being taken to complete the sowing of potatoes and onions within the established time frame.

The head of the regional administration also reported on the pace of construction of social and industrial facilities scheduled for commissioning this year within the framework of the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need for an integrated approach to the ongoing seasonal agricultural work, giving the khyakim a number of specific instructions in this regard.

The head of state also emphasized the importance of the tasks envisaged within the framework of the country’s socio-economic development programs and instructed the khyakim to monitor the high-quality and timely implementation of measures in this area. Then, the khyakim of the Mary velayat B. Orazov reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural work.

As reported, these days, fields sown with wheat are being cared for in accordance with agricultural standards, in particular, fertilizing with minerals and watering.

As part of the preparation for sowing cotton, land leveling and planning are being carried out on agricultural lands in the region, as well as the selection of seeds adapted to the soil and climatic conditions of the velayat.

Along with this, the necessary measures are being taken for the timely and high-quality spring sowing of potatoes and other fruit and vegetable crops, including the preparation of seeds and areas.

In addition, the khyakim reported on the pace of construction of social, cultural and industrial facilities, the commissioning of which is planned for the current year within the framework of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028 and the National Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Transformation of Social and Living Conditions of the Population of Villages, Towns, Etrap Cities and Etrap Centers for the Period up to 2028.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that strict compliance with agro-technical standards is the main condition for obtaining high yields of agricultural crops and gave a number of specific instructions to the khyakim in this regard.

The head of state also instructed the khyakim to monitor the quality and timing of construction of various facilities, the commissioning of which is planned for the current year within the framework of the country’s socio-economic development programs.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahalliyev reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the country.

It was reported that in order to obtain a rich wheat harvest this year and create an abundance of grain products, the fields of the velayats are caring for this crop in compliance with agro-technical requirements.

Along with this, in the areas allocated in the velayats for sowing cotton, land leveling and planning, and irrigation are carried out.

For an organized start to sowing, the necessary measures are being taken to select and store high-quality cotton seeds at cotton ginning enterprises.

Guided by the set tasks to increase the volume of production of fruit and vegetable products, strengthen food abundance in the country, the regions continue the corresponding work to prepare for the sowing season of seeds and areas for sowing potatoes and other crops.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that carrying out agricultural activities in accordance with agro-technical standards promotes obtaining rich harvests of agricultural crops. At the same time, natural resources such as land and water should be used effectively, the head of state said, instructing the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure control over the work in this direction.

Then the President of the country, addressing the participants of the working meeting, emphasized the preparation for cotton sowing, instructing to keep under review the work on leveling and planning the land and related to the flushing irrigation of fields in the velayats, as well as to take all measures to provide cotton growers with high-quality seeds before the start of the sowing campaign.

Along with this, the President of Turkmenistan gave relevant instructions on ensuring the care of wheat in the fields of the regions in accordance with agricultural standards, the preparation of seeds and areas for the spring sowing of potatoes and other crops, accelerating its pace, as well as on the implementation of timely settlements for the work performed between cotton and wheat producers and service institutions in the regions. The head of state ordered to take the necessary measures for the timely and high-quality implementation of the work in the velayats planned for this year within the framework of the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program.

At the end of the working meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished its participants good health, family well-being and great success in their work.
