National Action Plan to Combat Human Trafficking in Turkmenistan for 2025–2029 Approved

In order to strengthen the state system of guarantees, ensuring and protecting human rights and freedoms in Turkmenistan, as well as fulfilling our country's international obligations on human rights and intensifying cooperation with international organisations in the humanitarian sphere, focusing on work related to preventing threats at the national level, given that human trafficking is considered one of the most acute threats in the world, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution. In accordance with the document, the National Action Plan to Combat Human Trafficking in Turkmenistan for 2025-2029 was approved. The bodies responsible for the implementation of the activities of this plan are instructed to regularly monitor its implementation.
