On the formation of the Organising State Committee for holding high-level events to mark the announcement of 2025 as the «International Year of Peace and Trust» and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality

Independent neutral Turkmenistan, as an authoritative and responsible member of the world community, actively participates in modern international life. In this regard, our country puts forward important initiatives to address pressing issues on the global agenda - strengthening peace, security and stability, maintaining sustainable development, as well as social, environmental, humanitarian and other issues. Today, they are effectively implemented through the adoption of multilateral documents.

In light of the above and in order to implement the Resolution of the United Nations General Assembly «2025 - International Year of Peace and Confidence», unanimously adopted by the member countries of the Community of Nations at the initiative of Turkmenistan on the 21st of March, 2024, celebrating a glorious anniversary in the life of the modern Turkmen state - the 30th anniversary of the neutrality of the Fatherland, as well as ensuring a high level of significant international forums, conferences, meetings, celebrations and events scheduled to be held during the year together with reliable and constructive partners of Turkmenistan - foreign countries and international structures - on the occasion of the announcement in Turkmenistan of 2025 as the «International Year of Peace and Trust», I decree:

to form an Organising State Committee for holding high-level events to mark the declaration of 2025 as the «International Year of Peace and Trust» and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality, and to approve its composition.
